Raindrops continuedto fall as they moved towards each other, smiling, and thenlaughing, before the seriousness of the situation overcame them,and they stopped. Chloe reached out and tenderly cupped hischeek.
Todd marvelled at how far theyhad come. An old song lyric came to mind, one they had sungtogether on this very beach, and he smiled as their lipsmet.
