was her second home, wearing a silk dinner suit in the same cherry red color as the boxing gloves Pierce had bought for her months before. Farah had insisted on supervising the shopping, and Jacquie had never worn a more beautifully tailored ensemble. She felt sleek and expensive, though Maddy, Ash and Farah had teased her about her matching red lingerie.

The F5F partners were there with their partners, all spaced around the lobby in clusters: Tyler and Shannyn, and their son, Michael were standing together. Theo and Lyssa were with their son Logan a few feet away, while Cassie, Reid and Marty were a few feet away from them. Damon and Haley were watching remotely from home and Jacquie could see them on one of the big screens. Kyle and Lauren were in California, also on the big screen. Sonia and Nate had come in for the wedding, as had Thom and Annika. Meesha was resplendent in a pale pink suit that hugged her curves and had fluffy pink feathers around the neckline.

Maddy, Ash and Farah had arrived with Jacquie, like an honor guard, while Lisa, Jimmy and the big ex-SEAL they called Troll stood with Pierce. Brandon and Elizabeth were with Cole, who had come home for the ceremony. Midori and her husband were also watching from California, and many of the staff from the club were attending remotely, too.

Pierce stood in the middle of the lobby with the minister and Jacquie caught her breath when he turned and smiled at her. It was still electric. Admiration lit his eyes, just as it had that first night in the kickboxing studio, and Jacquie knew the sizzle would always be there between them. He was wearing a tux with a red tie, perfectly coordinated to her dress, and a boutonniere with an ivory rose, just like the ones in her bouquet.

“Hi,” she said as she slid her hand into his elbow.

“Hi,” he replied in the low murmur that still gave her shivers and always would. He smiled ever so slightly. “You look fabulous.”

“So do you.” They smiled at each other for a deliciously long hot moment. “Want to get married?”

“Actually, I do.”

“I’ll bet you have it all arranged,” she whispered.

“I tried to cover all the details,” he confided.

Jacquie laughed, knowing he wouldn’t have missed a thing, and Pierce grinned, then they turned to the minister together to exchange their vows.

They’d embraced their pasts and were building a future. They’d treat each day as a new opportunity to fall in love all over again, and Jacquie couldn’t wait to begin.

Her future had a definite sizzle with this man by her side, and that was the best part of all.
