children. “And trust me when I say that the Dark World has completely changed. You will be shocked when you see it.”

The Scavenger continued, “The card will open a portal that will bring you all straight to the Dark World. The children will explain to you about the time difference and other stuff.”

Pyros intervened, “You need a few days to plan a trip to Singapore, or India, or Miami, or whatever. But you need only a few hours of leisure time to visit the Dark World. Even if you have one hour of free time, you can press this card and enjoy one month in the Dark World. It will be an unforgettable experience.”

The Scavenger opened a portal. He along with Thomas, Staler, Skazen and Pyros stepped in. The Scavenger turned to address the children. “Do plan a trip with your parents soon. I will be eagerly waiting.”

The children waved goodbye as the portal closed.

Matt’s father said excitedly, “I am so eager to visit the Dark World. Let’s plan to spend the summer vacation month there.”

Matt smiled. “Dad, that will be about sixty years in the Dark World. You would need hundreds of suitcases and a lifetime savings worth of clothes. Think of a few hours instead.”

Matt’s father was amused as he mentally did the calculations, “Oh! Okay, let’s take leave from office and go the day after tomorrow.”

Everyone agreed almost instantly.

James’s mother said, looking at the four children, “We are proud of you all. No one will ever know that you saved another world, but that doesn’t matter. It’s time to celebrate. Let’s party.”

She started clapping. The other parents followed.

While clapping, the parents encircled the four children, celebrating their courage and bravery.

The children looked at each other and smiled.

Two days later, everything was planned.

Everyone assembled at Matt’s house with their suitcases, in which the parents had packed clothes, food stuff, etc., planning to spend three months in the Dark World.

“It’s so amusing. We are going on vacation for only three hours,” Matt’s father said, laughing.

Matt picked up the card and tapped on it.

At once, a blue portal appeared.

Everyone entered one by one along with bags and suitcases.

The group emerged in a beautiful hall which had walls inlaid with diamonds.

The Scavenger was waiting for them. Pyros, Thomas, Staler and Skazen greeted them.

“Long time, no see,” the Scavenger said, shaking hands with the parents, “I hope you have planned to spend sufficient time here so that I can show you around.”

“Earlier we thought for a month,” Matt’s father said. “But I expect we will get bored, so we will leave in a week or so.”

The Scavenger and his group laughed heartily. “Oh, you are going to see how wrong you are.”

“What is this place?” James asked.

“This is the Castle of Fate, James. Remember the Kings of Necron? They are no more now, but this hall used to be the protective chambers in which they took shelter when Osay attacked the Castle. We have reconstructed this hall and named it the Emporium,” the Scavenger said.

The children were surprised.

The Scavenger continued, “We have not restricted luxuries only to the Island of Humans. The humans have worked hard to create malls, sports complexes, hotels, etc., for everyone in the Dark World.”

“When was all of this made?” Archer asked, dumbfounded.

“It’s been years since you left.” The Scavenger smiled. “If there is no evil, any place in the Universe can be developed like this. Your Earth can be a blessed place provided you remove all evil from there first.”

The children decided to look around the Castle of Fate and the parents decided to take some rest. The Scavenger’s aide escorted the parents to their suites.

The children became nostalgic as they moved around the Castle of Fate. Matt became particularly emotional and was struck with thoughts.

Everyone that they had lost in the war... they wouldn’t be there to see what the Dark World had become, but their souls would forever remain in eternal bliss, since the beauty of the Dark World was because of them.

Matt glanced at his friends. Everyone caught each other’s eyes at the same time. They all knew what the others were thinking.

They had travelled through the deadliest of places...

They had fought the strongest of warriors...

They had survived through the toughest of times...

And they had fulfilled every promise...

Now it was time to celebrate.
