front of her.

He begins kissing her neck.

He places a hand on her breast.

Jeremy walks up and shoves him aside.

The old man punches Jeremy in the face.

Jeremy falls to the ground.

The old man stands there with clenched fists.

OLD MAN

She's mine, boy. I suggest you find

yourself another.

Jeremy scrambles to his feet.

He grabs Tara and pulls her toward the exit.

He is forced to peel her fingers from the door frame on the way out.

The bar fills with laughter.

INT. ARBORETUM - CRATER COVE - DAY

Jeremy pulls Tara into the arboretum.

She starts kicking and screaming.

TARA

Let go of me!

JEREMY

What's the matter with you? I'm trying to

help you.

TARA

I don't want your help. That man was

about to give me a thousand credits.

JEREMY

For what? Sex?

TARA

What's it to you?

JEREMY

Jesus, Tara, is this what I think it is?

I can't believe you would do that.

TARA

Jeremy?

JEREMY

You mean you didn't even recognize me?

TARA

I haven't seen you in two years. You ran

off to Mars so I came to the moon. Then

the Chinese attacked and I got stuck up

here. I ran out of money so...

JEREMY

So you became a prostitute? You're still

my wife.

She tries to slap him.

He grabs her wrist.

She knees him in the groin.

He falls back against the vine covered wall.

His pain is transformed into rage. He throws her hard against the wall.

She falls to the ground. Screams hysterically.

JEREMY (CONT’D)

Tara, I didn't mean-

Her screams grow louder.

Jeremy panics.

He runs across the arboretum and slips into a long glass hallway.

He arrives at a luxurious intersection. Long couches circumvent its perimeter.

An OLD WOMAN is sleeping on one of the couches.

Jeremy sees Tara coming up the hallway.

He hides behind a large potted plant.

Tara moves through the intersection and down another hallway.

TARA (O.S.)

(pounding on a door)

Come out of there you bastard! You want

to know what I've been doing at night?

Jeremy moves to look down the hallway.

Tara runs right into him.
