Jeremy, now 65 years old, is sleeping before a bank of monitors.
One of the monitors shows Cecil, now 85 years old, boarding a small spacecraft.
The spacecraft is pulled into the sky by unseen forces

Alec's solo submarine enters the system.
It zips past several Kek ships lingering about.
INT. SCOUTSHIP - CIDEBA ORBIT
A cockpit display indicates that the scoutship is cloaked.
A green light begins flashing.
The main monitor switches to an image of Alec's sub approaching the planet.
Piren trades glances between the monitor and a nearby Kek ship visible through a portal.

Alec's sub circles Cideba and heads back out into space.

The star rapidly grows larger and brighter.
