Мацей Кранц занимает должность вице-президента группы стратегических инноваций компании Cisco и более 30 лет работает в сетевой отрасли. Он возглавляет группу, которая культивирует новые предприятия, ускоряет внутренние инновационные процессы и посредством глобальной сети инновационных центров Cisco руководит совместными программами инноваций с клиентами и стартапами.
До этого Кранц был главным управляющим группы связанных отраслей компании Cisco, которая занималась развитием интернета вещей. Он за 18 месяцев построил с нуля компанию с годовым оборотом в 250 миллионов долларов и неустанно пропагандировал возможности IoT внутри Cisco и на рынке, что привело к включению IoT в список главных приоритетов Cisco.
Прежде Кранц занимался проектированием, формированием приоритетов и разработкой архитектуры и дорожных карт решения Borderless Network. Он также разрабатывал бизнес-стратегию и товарную политику компании в сфере беспроводных и мобильных технологий и возглавлял продакт-менеджмент в развивающемся подразделении коммутируемых сетей Ethernet, что привело к росту его прибылей с 400 миллионов до 6 миллиардов долларов в год.
Прежде чем устроиться в Cisco, Кранц занимал различные управляющие посты в 3Com Corporation, где он возглавлял линейку сетевых плат Ethernet, приносящих 1 миллиард долларов дохода. Свою карьеру он начал в корпорации IBM.
