I waited it out and then there was silence. I moved nearer to the garage door and listened. I could hear something, but I wasn't sure what it was. It sounded a bit like growling and teeth chattering against one another.
It was then that I decided to open the garage and try to escape. What I saw next was sickening and terrifying. A policeman was on the ground whilst being eaten by a weird looking figure. I thought the person seemed evil more than anything else.
There was blood everywhere and the evil looking creature was wearing rags covered in blood. It was feeding on the policeman, which I thought was odd. I feared for my life at that point. My body shook and a cold sweat fell from my forehead as I shook with fright. I nearly fell over not knowing what to do next as I stood there rooted to the spot. My heart pounded. I had to hold my mouth shut with my hands, because I was about to scream out.
When I looked around, I saw a woman staring over at me from the gate. I hadn't realised that someone was there. I quickly ran over to her. I did it quietly, so the mad creature wouldn't see that I was there. Something told me that I needed to be quiet.
Once outside the gate and away from the threat, I felt I could breathe, but I wished I had brought a bottle of wine with me. The terror inside of me had made me want to drink more. My body still trembled as I looked at the black haired woman. She was crying as she held her mobile in her hand.
I spoke to the woman whose name was Lydia and she agreed to give me a lift to the shop. She seemed terrified. She nearly fell backwards as I got to her side. She was just as afraid as I was. She said she hadn't witnessed anything so horrific before. She trembled as my heart slowly began to recover.
There was no way I wanted to go back and get my van now. I would worry about getting into my garage later. Although, I had left it open and hoped it would be okay until I got back.
At the shop, I realised I had to walk back and it worried me, but I just got on with it. After an hour of just hanging around and drinking some red wine out of the bottle, I decided to walk back to the garage. I had to get back there at some point, but what would I do if that weird looking thing was there still eating that policeman? I wasn't sure.
As I walked on, I tried to think of what I could do if I got into any trouble. I could always kill it I thought. Although, how would I do that I? I needed some sort of weapon. Then I realised I had something in my van that might do the trick.
I got to the gates and punched my pin number into the keypad. The gates were always locked at night.
I quietly walked to my van. I could see the thing was still there on the ground munching away at the policeman. I just had to get rid of them if I wanted to get into the garage. So, I opened the van's boot and took out two sticks that I usually used for fishing. They had pointed ends to them. I hoped that they would protect me.
I walked quietly towards my garage, but the thing heard my footsteps and got up. I couldn't believe it! Even the policeman on the ground started to move.
I lifted both sticks up high to protect myself and shoved one of them in the back of the dead man's head as he was trying to get up. He fell to the ground. Somehow, it seemed to work. I had killed him, but I didn't know why he had suddenly died. I tried to do the same to the policeman, but the stick accidentally went through his eye as my hand was shaking. I nearly vomited, as blood squirted onto my face.
Both bodies were now silent. I felt an overwhelming relief go through me. I had done it. Now all I had to do was move these bodies, which would be more difficult to do.
I went into my garage and realised I had a wheelbarrow, so I used it. I threw the bodies into it and wheeled them into the trees at the back.
When I finished, I began to wonder if this was a disease. Perhaps, it would be on the news, so I made a mental note to myself to check it out later.
3. Lydia Brown - The Dead
I uploaded the video to my laptop the next day. I let as many people as possible watch it at work. It was decided that it would be aired on the news that day, which pleased me a great deal. At least the public could be warned. I wanted people to see what was coming.
I sat at my desk for a while and then, I was called into the boardroom for a meeting. It was an urgent meeting from what I'd been told. The Editor wanted to speak to us. I did wonder why, but in hindsight, I felt I knew the outcome of what was coming and I had a strange feeling in the centre of my gut that something was wrong. The feeling that lingered was from what I had seen last night. The awful and crazy death of seeing that police officer being eaten by another human being was enough to consider that something was definitely
