the beautiful thingsI have for us here, and taste the wonderful meal that I’ve made foryou; and when you lift the tattoo I’m going to ravish you and makeyou never want to leave me, ever,’ she replied.

‘Miranda, smell theperfume of this flower. It’s sending me mad with desire. You musttake it from me - I feel like ravishing you before I can lift thetattoo. Save me,’ and he sent the mental image of the perfume intoher mind. Her body went tense and she broke out in a sweat.

‘Oh. That’s incredibleperfume. Oh, you wonderful, beautiful, fantastical man. I love youso much, Tain. Show me the flower!’ And she sat up, wide-awake.

‘Sweet mercy of theLady, where am I?’ she said.

‘Back in the realworld, Mandy,’ he said. ‘We’re in the Jeti village and it’s justbefore dawn, on the morning after your mind overloaded with powerduring the fight with the mask.’

‘Oh. I think I’ll goback to the other place, it was much nicer,’ she said.

‘Don’t you dare. It’shalf way to the other side. Besides, you want to see the flowerdon’t you?’

‘You mean it’sreal?’

‘Yes. It’s my passionfor you,’ and he sent the image to her mind.

She closed her eyes andbreathed in the perfume and watched the rhythm of butterfly petalscopulating sensuously as the rich silky colours dazzled her mind. Her heart sped up, her breathing changed and small beads of sweatappeared on her forehead. She jumped up with eyes wide open andpaced around singing a prayer to the Lady.

He thought to himself,‘That worked well! Should I call myself a psychic surgeon or aflower designer?’

Rori left to tell thevillagers the good news.

Several minutes latershe sat down beside him and hugged him around the neck then, unableto sit still, climbed onto his back and clung to him, her faceburied in the fur at the back of his neck.

‘Tain, that is the mostwonderful gift that I’ve ever received. Thank you. Thank you. Thankyou. I’ll treasure it always, my love. Oh I wish I could show youhow I feel. I want you on me, I want you in me, I want to wraparound you, I want to join with you. I want you to make love to melike there will be no tomorrow. Tain, I’m on fire inside. Quenchit, please, quench it!’

He felt her nakedsweaty body wrapped around him and clinging tightly. Her throbbingemotion pulsing and arcing across their mindlink was arousing himlike nothing he had ever felt before. His mind was in meltdown, hismuscles tense with apprehension. His blood caught fire. Hisbreathing became erratic like hers.

‘Mandy, are you sure?’he mentally panted hardly able to speak.

‘Yes Tain, yes, yes. Iwant you to, Tain! yes!’ she gasped, so he caressed the pleasurecentre in her mind. Her hair turned fire red and she went rigid inecstasy, then she clung to him like a limpet on a rock while herbody jerked and spasmed as if an invisible storm was trying to ripher from his back. His muscles tensed, his willpower evaporated andhis body released its tension. He lost all awareness of who orwhere he was as her ecstasy triggered his.

He had had the usualsexual fantasy dreams that young men have, but this was likenothing he had ever experienced. Her emotion and bliss coupled withhis swept his mind to another dimension. His bliss stimulated hersonce again, which stimulated his and so it went on and on, witheach triggering the other until she fell unconscious, sliding offhis back and rolling over his stomach to end as a limp heap in apool of white goo on the ground in front of his haunches.

She awoke before himsome moments later with a radiant glow about her that outshone thesun, and calmly wiped his ejaculate off her chest and stomach.

‘By the Lady, bearsproduce a lot of semen,’ she thought, as she dug a hole next to thepool and watched it seep in, then covered it with soil. Shesearched in the shaman’s hut for water to wash herself and cleansehis fur.

She stretched andsmiled, then kicked him in the rear.

‘Wake up, Tain! We’vegot work to do you lazy bear,’ she said vocally, as their mindlinkhad vanished.

Rori stood hypnotised,then discreetly disappeared.

Aquitain woke with astart and it took a few moments before his mind began workingagain. He looked around and saw Miranda radiating love, energy andvitality as if she was the Lady herself. He reformed a mindlinkwith her.

‘Oh God, Mandy, I neverbelieved it could ever be like that. That was like nothing on thisworld!’ he said as she moved and hugged him around the neck.

‘Thank you, Tain mylove. You made me feel like a goddess. I felt I was going to die inabsolute ecstasy, and I couldn’t stop it. I didn’t want to stop it.I want you to do it again, but I’m afraid I will die if we do.’

‘You’re right Mandy, wewill! You’ve totally drained me. I have no energy left at all. Ineed to sleep.’ And he fell asleep again.

‘Useless, damn bear. You’d think they’d have more stamina,’ she thought, changing to hereagle form to shoot off into the morning sky, flying up at an acuteangle until her muscles ached and she was higher than she had everflown before. Her mind finally calmed and she looked out serenelyover the world and felt how beautiful it all was.

She imagined that shewas the Lady looking out over her domain. She now had someone toshare it with. Someone wonderful, loving, strong, intelligent… andheaps of other superlatives. If only he could remove the tattoo, she could completely lose herself in him and he in her. They couldbe in perfect harmony in mind, spirit and body. They could diehappily together in each other’s arms knowing they had fulfilledthe most extreme dreams and desires of every young couple.

She drifted lazilyaround the sky on the air currents for more than an hour, fantasizing on what it would be like when the tattoo was removed, then as some rain clouds approached she decided to return.

Aquitain was awake andtalking with Rori. As she glided in and changed shape to her newmanform he created a mindlink with her.

‘I hope that you’vecooled down a little, Mandy.
