He would haveto do something that he might regret. There was no time to considerthe consequences. Miranda had said that the only thing other than astorm that could help her was to relieve the lust.
He tookMiranda’s hand and laid her on their bed and joined her. He createdhis most powerful mind block thrust his protected mind into herhead and with little effort dominated her and Gizel’s minds. Theyoffered no resistance. They let him take their burden. He wasimmediately assaulted by a massive emotional hurricane as he drewtheir three minds together in a protective embrace then constructeda tower of will around them.
‘This is the end my love I’m think we’re going to die. I’msorry. I love you.’ said Miranda.
Gizel wasdelirious.
‘I want you both to listen to my words for you know I wouldnever harm you or lie to you. I love you both more than anything inthe world and you trust me with your lives.’ he whisperedseductively.
‘You are being deceived in what you feel. All the sadness, theanguish and despair are really different levels of happiness. Allthe feeling of anger, pain and rage are really joy. We are in aship together sailing in the clouds. Look they are all the coloursof the rainbow.’
He could feel achange in the respiration in both bodies. He had their attentionthey were interested. They trusted him.
We are going tostop the ship and step out onto the clouds. We’re going to belittle children and we’re going to play on these pretty colouredclouds. Look the dark clouds have gone and the sun has come out.Let’s play together.
They wanted toplay. The universe exploded, the sun came out and a millionrainbows encircled them. Aquitain found himself in an illusory landof dreams. Miranda had created an illusory landscape in her mindfor them.
‘That’s it Mandy help me fight it. We can do it together. Burnyour power with illusions. Create a world for us!’ heyelled.
The dark cloudsvanished, the wind became gusts of exotic perfumes. They wereflowers waving in the gentle breeze in a grassy paddock, they werebirds singing in the trees, they were monkeys squabbling overfruit, they were fish in a silver stream, they were clouds in thesky, they were rains drops on brilliant green leaves, they were awaterfall and the foam at the bottom, they were the earth and thesky.
They werelittle children in pastel coloured play clothes. They danced andsang songs together, they chased each other and laughed andgiggled. They built snowmen out of pink cloud and threw cloud puffsand laughed even more. They rolled around the ground giggling untilthey all fell in a clump together. The two little girls cuddledinto him one on either side and kissed him on the neck and sparksflew.
He noticed outof the corner of his eye that there were other children on otherclouds nearby and wondered about it. They suddenly began to growand so did he. They were naked and pressing close to him. He couldfeel the warmth of their bodies, the moistness of their skin, thecloseness of their breaths. He could taste the sweetness of theirsweat as they began kissing him on the neck and chest and allover.
He began tolose control. They began fighting against his domination. Theybroke free. He tried to regain control. They surrounded him withtheir embrace, they kissed and rubbed their bodies against him withincreasing desperation and suddenly he began to melt. They all weremelting. They were like honey of different flavours and differentcolours. The cloud turned into a funnel shaped flower and theyslowly flowed down the petals dripping and intermixing at thebottom.
He tasted themixture and the flavour was divine. He recognized the perfume fromthe passion flower. It was intoxicating. He knew there was nochance of regaining control. He surrendered and their minds meltedinto one inside the flower as it gently closed and opened as if itwas breathing.
They became onefantastic organism in a rainbow universe that danced in harmonywith their hearts that beat as one. They knew each other moreintimately than the greatest lovers of all time. They submerged inthe purest spirit of love and joy. They began pulsing to someurgent drum beat of lust with massive anticipation.
Their heartsstopped for a moment as all the world waited then a single star litup the skies exploding into brilliant cascades of golden stardustand unthinkable rapture that seemed to last an eon. Another starexploded in rapture and then another and then a chain reaction ofstars began. It was as if the universe was about to end in oneglorious cataclysm that would be the ultimate in rapture. Therewould be nothing beyond.
Prendergrassused a word of power and Aquitain, Miranda and Gizel immediatelyfell unconscious.
Minutes laterMiranda was the first to awake. She stood up and staggered a fewpaces. Her belt brilliantly lighted up the room. She saw Darkmantleand Prendergrass standing there with pale and worn expressions ontheir faces. She saw a dozen or more guards lying unconscious ontheir backs nearby.
‘What in creation are you trying to do! Kill us all. We’ve hadto evacuate all our people to the back of the fortress wherethere’s some protection from you and Aquitain.’ shoutedDarkmantle.
‘Why?’ asked Miranda feeling intensely happy with a warm glowall over her body. In fact if it wasn’t for the belt they wouldhave seen her whole body was illuminated. Soft yellow lightemanated from her body. She had never felt this alive. She feltlike she was the Lady spreading life to a lifelessuniverse.
‘Your orgy, your passion, your emotions were radiating outfrom you two like the sunlight of the midday sun on Mudrun. Allthat were within a hundred paces were seduced and fell writhing inlust. Almost everyone in the stronghold could feel it and wanted tocome here and join in. You almost murdered everyone here with yourpassion.’
Miranda smiledlike a goddess.
‘I’m sorry. I guess it didn’t affect you two then.’
‘Prendergrass created a strong antimagic zone here to save us.We’re standing in it now.’ said Darkmantle.
Aquitain wokeand heard the voices. He staggered over to Miranda and cuddled intoher.
‘Wow! I didn’t think that
