She nodded and relief flowed cool and swift through his veins. “I do too. Officially. But things often run later. Is six too late?”
“That should work for me. At Rosie’s?”
She winged her eyebrows. “Rosie’s?”
Christ. She didn’t remember Rosie’s. Didn’t remember that mind-blowingly dirty quickie they’d had in the back alley late one night when neither had been able to wait long enough to get home.
“It’s a pub,” he said. “It’s two blocks that way.” He pointed in the opposite direction.
“Okay.” She nodded. “I’ll find it. I might be a bit late; sometimes court is like that.”
“I’ll wait.”
“All right.” She backed away another step. “See you then.” And she turned on her heel and walked away.
Logan shoved his hand through his hair as he watched her retreating back, his brain officially blown. Her straight skirt pulled taut across her backside and he absently noted a slight unevenness to her gait at the same time he thought bikini briefs.
It was easier than trying to wrap his head around Bella’s bombshell.
