breakfast. They were close to our age. But the older man didn’t cut up his partner’s food like you had to with mine. They were kissing and holding hands though. I just thought that maybe, sometimes, you’d like that.”

“Avery.” Jace’s heart broke. Sometimes Avery could still doubt himself. “I was a Daddy before I even met you. It wasn’t until we got together though that I finally felt fulfilled. I need to be Daddy just like you need to be my little.”

“I’m little a lot,” Avery said. “A whole lot. More than Caleb or Mitch are boys.”

Jace nodded. “That’s true on the outside.”

“What do you mean on the outside?”

“Mitch is looking for a twenty-four-seven Daddy. I think he’ll find what he’s searching for with Byron, but we’ll have to wait and see. Grant and Caleb already have a twenty-four-seven relationship. Much like ours. Grant give Caleb chores, dresses him, and holds his phone at all times. Their relationship is different from ours in what they indulge in but it’s also very similar. Caleb isn’t wearing diapers, sucking on his binkie, or carrying his lily and stuffies around like you. But he is dressed by his Daddy, has to ask permission to use the phone, and must follow the schedule Grant makes for him daily.”

Avery nodded.

“That works for them. This works for us,” Jace said gently. “I want you to be little when that’s what you want or need. That makes Daddy happy. I love taking care of you. I like cutting up your food, dressing you, and changing your diaper. We’re not like other couples. We’re so much better.”

Avery sighed before he put his binkie back in his mouth. He laid his head down on Jace’s chest and hugged him tight.

Maybe a nap now would be better.

Avery should wake up feeling much more secure.

Jace had no idea that Avery still had doubts about their lifestyle. It was true that Avery was little a lot. It was so natural for Avery to go from little to big and back that it was seamless. That wasn’t how it was for every Daddy/ little relationship but that worked for them.

Avery needed to be little in order to deal with the stresses of life.

It was a healthy way for him to overcome his fears. Avery didn’t drink, smoke, or do drugs. He wanted to wear a diaper and allow his Daddy to take care of him.

In Jace’s opinion Avery’s coping mechanisms were much healthier than many other peoples.

Avery

Avery dipped his toe in the ocean and shivered. It was colder than he’d expected.

He peered over his shoulder at Jace who stood several feet behind him.

“Cold?” Jace asked grinning.

“Yes,” Avery admitted. The pool at their house was much warmer. He loved swimming in the afternoon after school even though he preferred his sandbox.

“Chicken?” Jace taunted.

Avery laughed. He felt much better after a nap in Jace’s lap inside the cabana. Avery hadn’t even known he was worried about how Jace saw their relationship until the words had tumbled out.

Avery didn’t want things to change.

Since he’d moved in with Jace his life was pretty dang perfect. But he wanted to be fair to Jace as well. He shouldn’t have worried. Jace wanted Avery just the way he was, little or big.

Taking a deep breath Avery ran into the water. He kicked his legs out splashing as he went deeper.

Dang, it was hard to move in the ocean. Even with his water shoes on Avery’s feet sunk down and there was seaweed brushing against his legs.

Avery got waist deep before he dunked himself.

Ugh, salty! So salty! He popped back up and looked toward the shore.

Jace was laughing.

He’d made his Daddy laugh.

Avery jumped around, trying to remain warm, more than anything else. Seriously the ocean was cold.

He didn’t see any fish and decided he needed to investigate. Jace told him not to open his eyes in the water and Avery understood why. He could taste the salt on his lips. But he could still try to find fishies!

Avery swan around making sure to check back toward the beach so he didn’t get too far out. Jace had warned him to be careful of the tide.

Once he got used to the temperature of the water Avery was having a blast.

He didn’t know how long he played in the water pretending to be a merman controlling the fish before strong arms came around him.

Avery squealed.

“Having fun boy?”

“Yes Daddy!” He quickly looked around. He relaxed when he saw that no one was near them. “I’m a merman!”

“A merman?” Jace repeated. “Let me see that tail.”

Avery was flipped upside down and his head dunked.

He came up sputtering and laughing.

Jace grinned at Avery. “Such a beautiful tail.” He squeezed Avery’s ass.

Avery wiggled around. “You like it?” He wore a small pair of light blue swimming trunks that were new. They weren’t the ones he had for his pool at home.

“Best tail on the beach.”

Avery wrapped his arms and legs around Jace. They floated together as the waves gently crashed against him. “This is the best vacation. I like the beach and ocean.”

“Me too. I liked seeing your little bottom pop up when you dived down.”

Avery laughed. “Is that why my trunks are so skimpy?” Not that he was complaining.

“What can I say? I wanted to show my boy off.” Underneath the water Jace’s hand slipped into the back of his trunks.

Avery gasped.

Jace rubbed over his hole.

Avery tightened his legs around Jace’s waist. “Daddy, I feel naughty.”

“You do?” Jace teased. He pressed harder until the tip of his finger popped inside Avery’s hole.

“I’m hard Daddy, in my skimpy swimsuit. Someone might see,” Avery told him. He couldn’t help but grin. They’d never done anything like this before. It was exciting, frightening that they might get caught, but so exciting.

“Oh no,” Jace said. “I can’t have my boy’s special place all hard. I better help with that.”

Avery bobbed his head. “Please Daddy.” He bucked his hips to rub his erection against Jace’s hard stomach.

“Can you be a
