“Stop that,” he said.
“Catch up,” she told him back.
He was right. She was going to move. She needed to. It was in her blood like it was his.
His hands went under her hips and pushed her up higher into him while he slid out and slammed back in. She was not a dainty flower he had to worry about being gentle with. He knew she wouldn’t want that either.
The faster he moved the more her breathing increased, his own matching it. They were giving each other one hell of a workout like she’d said.
“I hope you’re close,” he said. The last thing he wanted to do was finish before he could bring her there again, but the honest truth was he didn’t think he could hold back much longer.
“Oh, I’m there. Just keep it up.”
He did. He had no choice at that point, his mouth going to hers, her tongue just as aggressive in his mouth as his body was slamming into hers.
Seconds later, if that, he was jerking inside of her, his body just releasing all the tension of the weeks it’d built.
She bit down on his tongue, her body pulsing around him, then her arms and legs falling flat to the bed, his body collapsing on hers.

Worth the Wait
Adriana wasn’t sure she had the energy or the ability to move at this point.
She’d expected sex with Wyatt was going to be explosive and he hadn’t disappointed her in the least.
“Can you shift just a little?” she said. “I can’t catch my breath with your weight on me.”
He rolled and pulled her on top of him. “So worth the wait,” he said.
“I’d like to think so. See, there is no reason to always jump in on the first few dates.”
“So that had been your plan all along?” he asked. “You couldn’t clue me in on it.”
She put her elbows on his chest and looked down at him. “I wasn’t sure we’d end up here even after you showed me a glimpse of this awesome body the day we went on the hike.”
“But you were attracted,” he said.
“Of course. I think that goes without saying. But being attracted to someone isn’t enough for me to get in bed with them. Maybe it is for you though?”
She hadn’t wanted to say that but really needed to know. Being burned like she had, it was hard to trust anyone.
Part of these past few weeks was to see if Wyatt really would put the effort in with her if she wasn’t going to jump in the sack with him on the first few dates.
She’d been hearing all sorts of things about him around the hospital from other nurses.
She was wondering how much of it was made up though.
Yes, he liked to have fun and go out, but it seemed he didn’t go out and do any of the things he did with her with any of those other women.
And that was part of the reason she wasn’t sure if it was just a friendship in his eyes like she was trying to tell herself it was for her.
Guess he proved her wrong though. In a good way.
Not that she’d tell him he was right again. She was kind of getting tired of saying that all the time to him.
“No. There has to be more for me. I’m not going to lie and say sometimes that isn’t what it is, but as I’ve said, I date a lot but don’t sleep with everyone I date. You know that. You heard it with Savanna.”
She had. That was something at least.
He moved away from her and sat on the side of the bed. “I need a shower,” he said. “Are we going to take one together now or do you need to go to the spare bathroom again?”
“Together sounds pretty good to me,” she said, jumping up and following him into the bathroom.
He turned the water on in his massive shower, two showerheads giving them plenty of space to clean up on their own sides. But Wyatt had other plans and pulled her in front of him when they were under the spray.
She didn’t have much of a choice about washing her hair when she was drowning and started to cough.
He laughed. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to do that. Just wanted to get my hands on you. Though maybe this is the only way to do it without you wanting to make a race out of it.”
She turned around and hugged him, the water hitting her back and drenching the length of her hair, plastering it to her. “Racing has it moments. Other times slow and steady wins the game. I’d say if you think of it we’ve had both.”
“Meaning getting to this point was the slow and steady?” he asked, grabbing the shampoo and dumping it on her head, then massaging it in. She could get used to this for sure and tilted her head back so the soap didn’t run in her eyes.
“Yep. Then you raced to get me to the end. We can slow down next time.”
“I planned on that,” he said, helping her rinse the shampoo from her hair. “I’ve got conditioner too.”
She laughed. Most men didn’t. “I guess that is why your hair is so soft.” She’d noticed that when she was holding his head in place as he devoured her body.
“Guilty secret of mine,” he said as he put the conditioner in. “You can wash me now while that sits.”
“And you know conditioner needs to sit in my hair. How is it you are still single?” Then she remembered Jade telling her not to put up with his shit. She wondered if that was part of it but didn’t want to ask.
“I’ve got a sister who likes to talk about shopping and hair products. Sometimes my ears would bleed when we were growing up but being the only girl she needed someone.”
“And you’d never tell her
