Letting out a nervous laugh, she set down her fork and looked up at him. “And who shall I go up against? Another young girl forced to attend your sexist school?”

“But it certainly will be a shame… ruining that pretty face.” He straightened up and scanned the crowded dining hall before returning his gaze to her. “Oh, and by the way; no.
