“Just my bang of the month,” Alvin smiled, knowing that Steve wouldn’t get what he was talking about. Steve gave him a confused stare. Alvin pulled out a marijuana joint and began to light it.
“I don’t do committed relationships, bro. That shit is for losers. I mean, why should I when you got all this ass right here, man? That’s what I do. I bang ’em, then bounce. Smash and dash. I’m telling you this is the life, man.” Alvin offered Steve the marijuana, but Steve put his hands up to decline.
“Not a smoker, huh?”
“I’m a runner. Smoking just isn’t good for the lungs. I may smoke a cigarette here and there for stress.”
Alvin continued the walk to the cabin. It was very well kept on the outside. It was hard to see inside through the windows.
Alvin walked up to the door and looked at Steve with a smile.
“Welcome to booty heaven!” Alvin said enthusiastically like a kid getting his favorite candy. “After you, sir.” Alvin held the door open like a bellhop with his arm extended.
Steve walked in to the sounds of passionate pleasure. The atmosphere seemed like a porn studio. Women playing with themselves in front of computers. Some had erotic toys and it aroused Steve.
“You like what you see, don’t you?” Alvin asked Steve as he rubbed his own crotch.
“What, what is this?” Steve asked in shock. Feeling both curious and horny, seeing beautiful women enjoying themselves.
“This is how we make the money here. The girls perform cam shows, and the profits go to the community. The best part. We get to go wild and party with the girls these guys fantasize about. We have our own porn site that generates millions thanks to these girls.”
“Why are they doing this?” Steve asked, trying not to be too aroused.
“What happens in the woods, stays in the woods. The truth. The lies. These are parts of the lies behind the woods.”
Steve stood, frozen, staring at the women once more. “I still can’t believe this is all here. Deep in the woods. How long you guys been doing this?”
“We should get going. They are expecting you for brunch,” Alvin told Steve as he closed the door behind them.
Alvin walked Steve to the biggest cabin in the middle of the woods, which reminded Steve of a castle in medieval times but more modern for today’s society.
“I can’t believe this is all here. It must have taken years to complete this.” Steve was still shocked by how beautiful the place looked among the trees. A real-life garden of fantasy. A sign posted in the middle called it the Garden of Breitenbush.
“Our leader is a smart guy. That’s why we follow him. I mean, for myself, I guess. We keep this place off the radar. I should say, I keep this place off the radar. My job in law enforcement is to make sure this place is never found. It is a big risk if we get spotted. I kind of hate doing this sometimes, man. Being a man of the law but a victim of sexual pleasure. I’m addicted, bro. Addicted to beautiful women and sex,” Alvin said while putting out his marijuana blunt and opening the doors to the cabin.
“Welcome home, Steve,” Alvin told him as he escorted Steve through the front door.
“I’m not sure what you mean by home. I am still here against my will. You guys kidnapped me, remember?”
“It will all make sense in just a few minutes. Follow me.”
Steve followed Alvin through the kitchen and into a big dining hall where he spotted Jane, who was sitting at a table in a row full of women. The women sat on one side and the men sat on the other. At the head of the table sat a man very recognizable to Steve, but he couldn’t figure out who the man was. He had a beard that made him look like he hadn’t shaved in years. Like he had been deserted on an island. Like he wanted to resemble Jesus in a long white robe.
The man saw Steve and immediately got up and ran towards him, giving him a big hug.
Steve made eye contact with Jane and gave her a blank stare.
The man looked into Steve’s eyes. “It’s nice to see you again, son.”
Steve pushed back and looked the man up and down. “Dad?”

“Hello, son. Nice to finally see you again and welcome to your new home. Man, you have grown so much. I can’t believe you are here now.”
Steve just stood there staring at a man he hadn’t seen in years. A man he thought was dead. A man that deserted him. The reason for Steve’s pain. The man he had been searching for after his mother’s boyfriend had beat him. His father was alive and well, living in White Pine. Looking healthier than he had thought.
“Dad, wha—what are you doing here? What happened to you all these years?” Steve was trying not to sound like a desperate boy missing his father in front of the people around the breakfast table.
“I have been watching from a distance, Steve. I never left you like you thought. I know you have so many questions, son. But we should eat for now and we can catch up later as you get more settled in.”
As Steve’s father placed an arm around his son, John rose from the table. “Excuse me, sir David, I have some inventory to count.”
“That’s fine, Sir John. Carry on. And get those women in those cages some food.” David turned to Steve again.
“Shall we?”
“You need to get your shit together, Kurt.”
“Fuck you, Alan. Or should I say, Senator. I know what I’m doing.”
John walked in on the two men arguing.
“Shut the fuck up already. We need to get this shit done so we can move on with our plan. I need you, Senator Alan, to go back to the district and listen to the police scanners, and Alvin stays
