I was almost there, so it didn’t take much effort on her part to finish me off. I blew a massive load all over her beautiful face. She shivered as I drenched her face with my cum, but while she lapped a bit of it up and swallowed it with maddeningly playful slurps and licks, the rest she slowly massaged into her face, staring up at me all the while.
“The seed of a god is surely the best moisturizer there is,” she said. “That was truly amazing. I’ve never been fucked like that before. Never. You really are a god…”
“You were pretty damn good yourself.” I stroked her beautiful black hair. “Certainly not the tomboy I remember.”
“I wanted you back then too, you know,” she said. “I was just too scared to show it.”
“I’m glad you finally plucked up the courage to take what you wanted,” I said with a grin. “Anyway, you’d better get back in the wagon. The others will be coming along soon. I’ll tell them you’re here soon enough… but not just yet.”
Anna nodded, got up, buttoned her dress, and headed back into the wagon, with my load still all over her face. I wondered how long she was going to leave it there.
Soon after that, the others started to emerge from the woods. As expected, they came back with nothing to report, one by one, until only Elyse had not yet returned. She was gone for five, and then 10, and then almost 15 minutes after everyone else had returned.
Just as I was about to head off into the woods to see if I could find her myself, she emerged from the trees… and she wasn’t alone. Trailing behind her was a thin young man in rags. He looked like a peasant, and from his disheveled appearance, cut-up skin, and unkempt hair full of twigs and leaves, it looked like he’d been through hell.
“What’s going on here?” I asked, walking up to Elyse and the young peasant who was following her like a stray.
He was thin, almost to the point of emaciation. While he didn’t look diseased, he was obviously extremely weak, probably starving and dehydrated. He posed no threat at all; a strong breeze would have snapped him in half like a dry twig—but there was something about him that seemed… off. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but my assassin’s sixth sense was definitely tingling.
“I found him wandering in the woods,” Elyse said. “The poor young man is lost and says he hasn’t eaten in days.”
“Well, what the hell is he doing out here in the middle of nowhere anyway? Did those barbarians raid his village or something?”
“Y-yes, my lord,” the young man croaked in a thin, reedy voice. “The barbarians… raided my village. They k-killed everyone. I only… barely escaped with… my life.”
He was lying. I knew right away; even a beginner assassin would have spotted it. It was a good enough lie to fool the average person, but not me. Still, I didn’t want him to know that I was onto him, so I played along.
“Oh, really?” I said, feigning sympathy. “Well, that’s terrible. I’m sorry for your loss, boy, but as you can see, we’ve taken care of those raiders. They won’t be pillaging any more villages, not now.”
He bowed low before me. “Th-thank you, my lord.” Who the hell was this beggar-looking beanpole, why was he lying, and what in the name of myself was he doing out here? The nearest village was dozens of miles away.
“We can take him with us,” Elyse said, “just to the next village we pass through. We can drop him off there. You have relatives who live in the next village, don’t you, Jort?”
“Y-yes, I um, I have family there,” Jort agreed.
I shot a subtle sidelong glance at Isu, and her look told me she too knew this man was lying.
“All right,” I said, “you can ride along with us to the next village, Jort. In the meanwhile, have some food and water. You look like you need it.”
He bowed again. “Thank you, my lord.”
He walked on shaky legs with Elyse over to the food wagon, where she got him some apples and jerky and a waterskin. Isu sidled up to me, staring intently at the scene.
“Something isn’t right here,” she whispered. “Be on your guard, Vance.”
“Trust me, I know,” I said. “There’s something suspicious about him, something I can’t quite put my finger on.”
“Your foolish cleric is obviously too naive or too stupid to see that.” Isu stared an icy gaze at Elyse, who was clearly helping this young man out of the goodness in her heart. “Let it be on her head if any ill comes of this.”
“It’s not her fault she actually has a heart,” I said coldly to Isu. “And don’t you worry, I’ll be keeping an eye on the boy.”
“Just remember whose fault it is that he was brought here,” Isu said with a sneer before turning around and striding briskly away.
I shook my head as I watched her go; Isu could really be a bitch supreme. I wondered if she would ever learn to get along with the other women… and if I could ever bring myself to trust her completely. I knew she had something planned but didn’t know if it would go as far as betrayal. Then again, there was the situation with Xayon, Isu’s involvement in some sort of major betrayal of all the Old Gods. I still needed to get to the bottom of that, whatever it was, but I could only do that when Rami-Xayon was back with me. I hoped my harpy would find her soon.
Chapter Eight
“All right everyone!” I yelled. “Back in formation!
