The moment had finally arrived. Everyonestood for the bride. When Vicky stepped through the threshold, shewas absolutely breathtaking. Their eyes immediately connected toone another once she saw him waiting for her with the minister. Shewore a long empire waist but off the shoulder dress. The dresscamouflaged her small baby bump. Vicky left her hair hanging inwavy curls that fit perfectly with her crown, princess veil. Vickycouldn’t stop smiling. Happy was bursting out the seams and shecouldn’t wait to officially become Jason’s wife. It seemed like ittook forever for her to finally reach him. She did and they joinedhands looking lovingly into each other’s eyes. His were just alittle bit more watery than hers.
The ceremony went off without a hitch. Onceshe finally reached Jason everything moved at warped speed. All shecould remember was ‘you may kiss the bride’. And kiss her he did.Jason kissed Vicky for what seemed like forever. They hadn’t reallytouched each other since the morning of the accident. It had beenalmost three long months. Tonight he was going to be with his wife,Mrs. Jason Kincaid Rutherford.
Chapter 26
Jason and Vicky had a ball at their wedding.The reception was wonderful too. Both of them were high onadrenaline and each other. The laughed, danced, and had a good timewith their family and friends all afternoon.
Although they were having a great time, Jasonwas ready to take his bride on their honeymoon. He was more thanready. Angel was going to stay with his parents and Aunt Shirley.This was going to be the first time Vicky would have left Angel’sside since the accident. He knew she was nervous about leaving herbut it had to happen at some point. They probably won’t get abetter excuse than celebrating your wedding. Not to mention, AuntShirley would be there too since she had been living in hisparent’s guest house for the past couple of months.
Jason and Vicky made their way up to theirbedroom to change before leaving for their seven day Cabo San Lucashoneymoon. Once they entered his bedroom and closed the door Jasoncouldn’t keep his hands off of her.
He pushed Vicky up against the door andkissed her deeply. She kissed him back just as passionately. Hishands were everywhere “Vicky, I can’t touch you like I want tobecause I can’t get my hands through all this fabric!” Theylaughed.
“Good because if you could we might miss ourflight to the airport. Did I tell you how much I love you today Mr.Rutherford?”
“Not as much as I love you Mrs. Rutherford.That feels good coming off of my tongue.” They kissed one last timebefore Vicky went into the bathroom to change out of her weddingdress into her honeymoon traveling cloths. He watched her go andstood there for a few seconds after Vicky closed the door just toreflect on how happy she made him.
On the other side of the door Vicky couldn’tbelieve how full her life had become and how happy she felt. Shewas married to the most wonderful man in the world, Angel was aliveand thriving, and in five ½ months she was going to have Jason’sbaby. She didn’t think life could get any better.
Chapter 27
Jason and Vicky had a pretty smooth flightover to Cabo San Lucas. The finally made it to their vacationcabin. It was beautiful. It sat right on the beach and there wasnot another cabin for at least a mile.
Vicky was about to open the door to theircabin before Jason stopped her.
“Are you serious? You’re just going to walkon into our cabin?”
Vicky blinked a couple of times looking trulybewildered. “Well, how else am I going to get inside?” then itdawned on her right as Jason swept her up into his arms
“Just like this.” He carried her over thethreshold all the while kissing her. Jason’s kisses were sopowerful. When he finally stopped kissing Vicky she felt almostdrunk.
“I’m not a superstitious man but I’ll takeall the good luck I can get.” He slowly lowered her feet down ontothe floor. He handled her as if she were the most precious thing inthe world. When Vicky’s body slid down his she felt exactly howready Jason was to be with her.
The next kiss was so gentle she wasn’texactly sure if their lips actually touched. Vicky had never feltmore loved than she felt in that moment. She was married to the manof her dreams and they were getting ready to start the rest oftheir lives together.
“I don’t know how I survived all these monthswithout being able to touch you. That is going to end this verymoment.”
Vicky wasn’t sure if it was possible butJason pulled her even closer. The next time their lips touched itwas hot and urgent. Vicky was just as hungry for Jason as he wasfor her. Her tongue wrestled with his as if neither could getenough. His hands ran down her back unzipping the dress she wore ashe went lower and lower. A moment later the dress fell into a heapon the floor by her feet. She stood in front of him only in ascarlet lace bra and panty. Even with her small baby bump, Jasonthought she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen.
Vicky helped Jason take off his jacket andshirt. They fell somewhere on the floor next to her discardeddress. It felt so good just to touch him and for him to touch her.His skin was so hot. So was hers. Vicky thought she would burn upfrom the inside out.
Jason wanted to devour Vicky whole and hewould do exactly that. But, right now he wanted his wife to knowthat he worshipped and adored her. He was going to do his best toshow her all night long. His lips moved from her lips to the petalsoft inside of her neck. He blazed a trail that left Vicky’sunderwear so wet they were virtually useless. Jason’s hands werebusy.
