Tasha screamed out his name, “Tim!”
He closed his eyes as he continued to surge and thrust into her pulsating core until he found his own release.
She collapsed on her stomach and he collapsed right next to her. They faced each other. They were exhausted.
“Wow.”
Tim, rubbed his hand down her back, “Wow, amazing, incredible, and so much more.” Then he kissed her softly on the lips.
Tasha’s stomach growled. With other men, she would have been so embarrassed but with Tim she wasn’t.
He laughed, “Hungry?”
She laughed too, “Starving.”
Tim couldn’t stop touching her. Whether it was a caress on her cheek, a touch on her shoulder, he didn’t want their intimacy to end. Let’s shower and I’ll make you breakfast.
“It’s lunch time. If I take a shower with you…it might be dinner time before I eat anything.”
A wolfish grin spread across his face, “It won’t be dinner time exactly.”

Tasha was still in the bedroom getting dressed when Tim came out to make them a late lunch. He only wore a pair of sweat bottoms and didn’t bother to put on a shirt.
The power had been restored. And, he’d received a couple of text messages so that could only mean that their cell phones were probably working too. He debated telling Tasha just yet. Who knew how much longer their own little paradise was going to last once the real world began to intrude. He wasn’t going to apologize either for wanting her to himself for just a little longer.
There was a phone call he dreaded having to make…and that was a call to Sabrina. He needed to tell her not to try coming down today.
Tim picked up his phone and dialed her number. The sooner he got it over with the better. Surprisingly, Sabrina answered the phone while it was still on the first ring.
“Hey honey.”
“Hey. Look…um…I don’t know if you were planning on coming down today but you shouldn’t.”
“Well, I was actually going to try and head out in about a half an hour. I was hoping maybe we could talk.”
“Sabrina it’s already three o’clock. The drive down is four hours. It’ll be seven by the time you get here and we’re leaving in the morning.”
“That’s okay. I know it’ll be a short trip for me, but I didn’t want to let you down.”
Tasha walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen while he was on the phone. The light in her eyes died immediately once she realized he was talking to Sabrina.
He tried to grab her by the waist but Tasha managed to elude him as she walked into the great room. Since the rooms were connected she could still see and hear everything.
Frustrated, Tim rubbed the back of his neck, “The roads are pretty messed up from a storm last night. It just doesn’t make any sense for you to come down. I’m not even sure if the bridge is passable. We’re even going to have to take an alternative root home that might add an additional two to three hours to our travel time.”
“Tim…I’ve made some decisions that I think you’ll be happy about. I didn’t want to share my feelings with you over the phone but I will if I have to.”
“No. Not now. We can do that when I get home.”
Sabrina hesitated, “Okay. I’ll wait until you get home. But, Tim…”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.”
“I’ve got to go.” He disconnected the call, turned his cell phone off and put it on the counter. He’d hoped to have at least another day before real life snuck in.
Tim came out from behind the breakfast bar and walked into the great room. He needed to tear down that invisible wall that had just gone up between him and Tasha. He spoke softly, “Are you still hungry?”
Although Tasha had a book opened as if reading, she hadn’t been able to see anything on the page. Hungry…was he serious? She had completely lost her appetite...and her damn mind. What was she doing? She was screwing Sabrina’s husband that’s what. It was official, she was a slut.
Tasha wouldn’t look at him and continued to look at her book, “No. I’m fine. I can’t be mad at you for talking to your wife. That’s what married couples do. They talk to each other.” The words on the page suddenly started to blur.
“Will you look at me?”
She couldn’t move, so Tim bent down to make sure he could see her eyes. He used the tip of his finger to lift her head. His heart almost broke when he saw the unshed tears.
“Baby…I’m so sorry. I had to talk to her. I had to tell her not to come here. You know I would never purposely do anything to hurt you.”
A tear slowly rolled down the side of her cheek. Tim used his thumb to wipe it away. “I know that. It’s just…there’s no way this situation is going to have a happy ending? How can it? I’m caught between the man I love and…my sister.”
“So, you’re saying…you…love me?”
She whispered, “You know that I do.”
“And…I love you. I’ve loved you for a long time and I’m not going to allow you to give up on us before we even have a chance.” Tim tenderly pressed his lips against hers.
“We’ll figure this out. I promise.”
The ringing of Tasha’s cell phone interrupted them. It was Sabrina. She debated not answering it…but how could she do that? Tim could tell by the look on her face exactly who it was.
“I have to answer this.” How was she going to talk to her after she’d made love to her husband? She took a deep breath and answered, “Hello.”
“Tasha, thank goodness
