Eight bodies.
How many Coxians had they killed and dragged around? That must be the entirety of the night shift.
"He may never do anything good again," Myro finished, throwing the last body onto the pile.
"It seems I didn't have to do any of the good in the first place." My lip curled as I stared at the pile, and at Myro. "You two could have done this back on Io, you know."
Kylie shook her head, finally pulling back from the peppering of kisses. "Yeah, and end up here with you? Then who would be left to save your ass?"
Kylie gave me a grin, gripping my hand as though it was the only thing keeping her upright. I howled so loud that, if we had gone unnoticed before this, we were goners now.
"I really hoped you killed everyone on this level." I hissed through the pain, shaking my injured hand and the dislocated thumb that had moved from discomfort to agony.
"If not, we will." Kylie was looking at my hand now, eyes darting from the one to the other. "You didn't have to do this. I'm no stranger to handcuffs."
I didn't give that a response, just a glare as she grabbed my other wrist and pulled it around, sticking the tip of her knife into a tiny slot I hadn't seen before. They popped open with little effort.
"Good. Now, get up and let's move." Myro was already hitching my arm over his shoulders, pulling me up with a heave.
Normally, I would fight him. Normally, I would throw him over my shoulder, kick him in the jaw, and probably in that ridiculous cock of his. I didn't feel the need to do any of it anymore, yet another thing this beautiful human had taken from me.
Although this time I was glad of it. Glad of him to care for her when I couldn't. And strangely glad of the connection that sparked when we were all together.
My stomach swooped at the thought, everything turning and twisting as my cock twitched.
"Where are we moving to?" I asked as the two carried me into the hall like I was some kind of invalid. Screw that! I pushed them off, strutting away and following the line of blood created by Myro dragging about all those men.
I made it a few steps before my legs gave out. I almost went down, barely catching myself on the nearest glittering wall.
"We are going to the bridge," Myro came up beside me, handing me one of the guns from the guards and palming the other one. "By my best estimate, we are due to land in a few hours, and I think it's time to find out what makes these humans so scary."
"I'm pretty sure I already know." Kylie gave us one last grin before she unsheathed her knife and flipped it once, the silver metal glinting against the golden walls.
Then, she took off.

Kylie
My shoes were so covered in blood that I could feel my toes beginning to stick together.
The gunk squished and sloshed as I ran. Crouched like an animal, I turned the corner and plunged my knife forward, the blade sinking into another of the golden skinned Coxian guards that patrolled the halls the closer we got to the bridge.
"You know, I am starting to feel a little frightened of you," Fey's voice was weak behind me, and I resisted the urge to turn and help him. He was trying to keep his back straight and look brave for me, Myro jogging next to him, looking like the ‘after’ in an ad for health supplements. I would have believed the brave face Fey was putting on if it wasn't for all the dappling of black and blue on his face and the swelling in his jaw.
"You? Scared?" Myro laughed, stepping between us and grabbing the moaning Coxian that I’d dispatched. The man was moaning and gurgling, but I ignored it as Myro grabbed him. The gun didn't even make a noise as he held it to the guard’s head and pulled the trigger. "I find her fierceness to be pretty hot."
Myro looked at me with the grin that always melted me from my head to my toes. The trickle of pleasure moved over my spine, even as he held a man he’d shot in the head. Damn, now he could turn me into horny goo with a smile—no super powered Coxian pheromones required. I was in trouble.
"Well, keep it in your pants until we are out of danger." My words were all business, but I shot my boys a wink before wiping the blade on the side of my oversized pants and continuing forward, pulling them behind me as we approached the bridge. My heart pulsed its distress, but I shoved away my worry, my grip on my knife becoming tighter and tighter.
"How many are going to be there?" I whispered with a quick head turn behind me, to the two Coxians who were... staring at my ass. "Come on, we have to murder our way out of this and my ass can't kill people—"
"I beg to differ."
I gave Fey a disparaging look—not that Myro was any better—and turned. If they weren't going to help me, then I was going to have to do it myself. I pulled myself forward, turning one of the last corners before the bridge. I hadn't been to the bridge much on our own ship, but I knew the way.
"Wait." Fey said the second I turned to face the heavy, glittered door. He sprinted forward as much as his mangled body allowed to catch up with me, then held an arm out to stop me. "I'm sure you are ready to dive in, but there are at least twenty Coxians behind those doors, and you can't take all of them on."
"Then stop staring at my ass and help me out here." I was taunting him, teasing
