a naturally pretty girl who didn’t have to do much but brush her hair and get all of the attention even on her basic days. Since she found out she was pregnant, it seemed like her natural glow and beautiful innocence disappeared. She looked stressed and miserable. As her best friend, I couldn’t let her sink into this mess but rise above it. I know that Bre would be a good mother and will still accomplish her dreams after giving birth. I just hope that Jemar won’t hold her back and ruin her.

“Do you need anything?” I asked as I took my coat off and placed it on the hook that was on the back of the door.

“Can you grab me some saltine crackers and water from the kitchen. I read that it helps.” She said.

“Sure,” I said as I walked out of her room and went downstairs to the kitchen. As soon as I got to the kitchen, I saw the mess that was created and instantly rolled my eyes. If Ms. Aretha came home and saw this, she would blame Bre for not cleaning up, even though I’m sure she didn’t create this mess. This had Eric, Wayne, and Alexis written all over it. Alexis wasn’t too young to know how to clean up after herself, but Eric and Wayne were definitely old enough to tell her to and clean up after their damn selves as well. I didn’t want Ms.Aretha to question Bre and end up finding out that she’s pregnant. All she has to do is ask one question that will lead to a series of questions, and all it takes is that one to put everything together. I grabbed Bre’s crackers and water and took it to her.

“The kitchen is a mess. So I’m going to clean up before your mom gets home.”

“Thank you for this, but you don’t have to clean up after my family. After I eat these crackers, I should be good enough to clean up.”

“Bre, you barely can sit up in the bed. Don’t worry, I got it.” I said without giving her a chance to stop me.

The first thing I did when I got back into the kitchen was to gather all of the trash. Next, I straightened up the kitchen table, then washed the dishes. As I was lost in my thoughts while washing the dishes, I felt cold hands wrap around my waist. I instantly jumped and turned around to face the creep who startled me.

“Really, Eric!” I said as I hit him on the arm. I tried to keep my voice down.

“I scared you?” He said, smiling.

“Duh! Didn’t you see me jump?” I said, rolling my eyes.

“I did see something jump.” He said, looking down at my breasts. I tried to ignore his stares, but my body was betraying me already. Eric moved closer to me and placed his lips on mine. I kissed him back.

“Come on.” He said as he grabbed my hand, I instantly snatched it back.

“Bre is here, and I’m in the middle of cleaning up your mess!”

“My mess? How do you know I did this?” He said, looking at me up and down. I turned around and grabbed a bowl that had half-eaten Frosted Flakes in it.

“How do you know that was mine?”

“You’re the only person I know that stops eating Frosted Flakes when you let them get soggy.”

“You think you know me?” He smirked.

“Not at all,” I smirked back. But I was lying. I had a crush on his ass since we were little and always made mental notes about his likes and dislikes. I wanted to be the girl of his dreams who knew everything about him.

“Yeah, whatever. Creep.” He joked.

“Boy, whatever. You’re more wasteful than Alexis, with your picky ass.” I said, then turned back around to finish the dishes. The more I looked at him, the more I crave him and would be willing to do anything to him. As I continued to wash the dishes, I felt his chest against my back and his hands traveling under my shirt. He fondled my breasts, and I made it pretty easy for him because I wasn’t wearing a bra. I had B-cups, so it was easy for me to walk around bra-free. When I felt him pinch my nipples and kiss the back of my neck, I almost melted.

“Eric…,” I whined. He knew what he was doing and knew I would break soon.

“You miss me?” He whispered into my ear. The warmness from his breath made the hairs on my body stand up. I couldn’t talk but just nodded my head.

“Let me hear you say it.” He said as he continued to rub my breasts.

“I missed you,” I whispered.

“Better had.” He said then took his hands to rub up and down my body. I don’t know why Eric always made me feel like putty. It was just something about him that made me want to jump at his every command and give him my everything.

“Come upstairs with me.” He said.

“Bre is here,” I said, reminding him again.

“It will be quick, I promise.” He said. I closed my eyes as I felt his lips touch my neck. As much as I didn’t like fooling around with Bre’s brother behind her back, I hated doing it right under her nose. I knew I should have said something to her when we started messing around, but I didn’t know how she would feel since I was her best friend. Bre knew I had a crush on him since she found my “Dream” book with plans of my life with Eric when we got older. She never told him, but she would secretly tease me about it until last year when I told her that I wasn’t interested in him anymore. I was being honest about not liking him anymore because he never showed me any attention and ignored me. I found somebody else to crush on and started to ignore him. However, three
