“Shit,” he moans at the feeling of me sucking him inside.
He releases a raspy groan when he finally cums deep inside me, his cock jerking and pulsing. I finally look over to Marlana and her head is hanging down, chin to chest and crying softly now.
I stand up off of Vin and he adjusts himself back inside his boxers and we both dress. He grabs my face and presses a bruising kiss to my mouth. Once we’re both dressed, I take the gag out of Marlana’s mouth.
“You two are the most disgusting people I have ever met.” She grits out, sucking in mouths of air.
“Nope,” I point to her mother. “She is. But fuck it,” I bend down into her face, “I’ll gladly take second place.”
“Why did you kill her?” She whimpers and begins to cry.
“She helped ruin a lot of people's lives. You are on the fast track to doing the same. Consider this your one and only chance to turn your life around without her polluting it. Change, do good, and be someone worth living here. Or else I will be back, and after seeing everything I am capable of, I would suggest you heed this warning.” I stand up and go to the sink to wash my hands. “I am going to untie you and when we leave you will call Chief Moore here. Tell him everything, exactly what we did and why we did it. The most important thing you tell him is who did it.”
I nod to Vin and he unties her. Once she’s free, she stands and rushes to her mother. Most people would look at her and feel pity that she’s now parentless because I took away her decrepit mother, but I see it like I saved her from a shit parent and I’m giving her a chance to make herself better. Some of us were better off parentless than with parents who would lead us into a life of corrupt depravity.
“Sorry, gonna need this back.” I say quietly and pull the knife from Tonya’s mouth. “Call Moore as soon as we leave.”
“Yeah,” she murmurs. “Just leave.”
Vin grabs my hand and pulls me out of the house and straight down to the Hummer. Once we’re inside, he pulls the seatbelt across my chest and leans in to place a sweet kiss on my lips.
“Let’s find out what happened to Andrew.” He says as he starts the vehicle and pulls away from Marlana’s house.
I hope I never have to come back here again.

Ember is showering the blood from her skin when I hear the notification on our phones ping at the same time. A car is driving up the driveway, it’s black and nondescript, very much like an undercover police car or maybe something the chief would drive. I guess Marlana did what was asked of her.
“Em,” I call into the shower. “We have company.”
“Oh goodie.” I hear her mock squeal and chuckle as I close the door.
I head downstairs and already find Emmett, Adri, and Travis standing on the front porch, forming a line. We may be fucked up and completely dysfunctional but we don’t let anything happen to our own.
“This is the fastest I’ve ever seen the police work.” Emmett calls out as Moore steps from the vehicle.
“So you know why I’m here?” Moore’s eyes brighten like he’s caught us.
“Yeah,” Emmett calls out. “I just reported my cat missing an hour ago.”
Travis coughs on a laugh and I cover my mouth to hide the smile. Adri steps forward and crosses her arms over her chest.
“What are you doing here Moore?” She asks, her voice commanding and strong. Out of all of us, Adri’s surname is the most powerful. The money her family owns alone is leaps and bounds over anyone else’s. Her family put the most money into the creation of Whitsborough.
“I just came from a fellow student of yours home. We found her mother murdered and she claims it was Ember Craven.”
“Interesting,” Travis leans against the brick wall. “Warrant?”
“Warrant? I’m not searching or investigating anything, I just thought her and I could have a conversation.” Moore placates with his hands out from his sides.
“You mean you want to talk to all of us.” I correct him as I step forward into his view.
“Ah! Vincent Greene. Yes, I will speak with all of you.” He nods.
“Oh for goodness sake, guys!” Ember says from behind us. I turn to look at her and she’s standing there with her head wet and wearing a robe. “Let him in, this is just plain rude. Do we have cakes and cookies?” She’s saying as she walks towards the kitchen.
“Fucking psycho females.” Emmett mutters as he walks by me and into the house.
Adri and Travis follow behind and I wait for Moore to come into the house. He eyes me from head to toe and I meet his gaze with a stern one of my own.
“Don’t try anything, Moore.” I warn him.
“Wouldn’t dream of it, Greene.” He retorts. “I’ve seen what happens to the people who do.”
I follow closely behind him and into the kitchen. Em is making coffee and humming at the counter. Emmett and the others are seated at the table, watching her with interest. Everything Em does is premeditated and I can only assume all this is as well.
Moore and I both sit at the table and wait for Em to finish her show. Once she has her coffee and a muffin, she offers to the rest of us. We all politely decline and she shrugs as she sits at the table.
“Your loss.” She moans over a bite of muffin. “What can I do for you, Chief?”
“We received a call today from Marlana, you know her I presume?”
“Oh yes,” Em nods emphatically. “Such a great
