Then he issued a hilarious condescending, “Yee haw,” and instructed her to climax.
The indignity of being ridden like a horse in her eyes disappeared when she felt his cock tighten and spurt as her orgasm spread like a fire throughout her body making her scream.
Chapter 11
It wasn’t until the next day Alexander was able to take Scarlett out. He wanted her to see the picturesque lakeside town of Keswick with its clock tower town hall and its pretty shops. It was around Easter time and there were plenty of tourists around exploring all of the hiking shops in preparation for walking around the multitude of hills and mountains surrounding the lakes. He took her for a walk around the lake and persuaded her to get in a rowboat with him so he could row her to the small island in the middle and back. When they left the boat laughing and happy, he took her for coffee and cake at The Wild Orchid, one of his favorite places to have coffee and work when he was over from the States. Afterwards they strolled around the shops hand in hand until she looked tired. He sat her down on a bench.
“Are you okay or do you want to go home, Scarlett?” he asked stroking his fingers through her hair concerned she was approaching another episode.
“No. Thanks. I am really enjoying being out. I just felt a little tired and dizzy. I will be okay once I have had a rest.”
He felt placated and let his eyes drift around the town in front of him spying a flower shop. With all the commotion and leaving London so hurriedly he hadn’t even been able to romance Scarlett properly and buy her some flowers. But he didn’t want to disturb her taking a rest and soaking up the warm sunshine and bright blue cloudless sky. Was it safe to leave her alone for a short while? Unknown to Scarlett his security men were shadowing them from a distance, he hadn’t wanted her to know. Sometimes she had felt claustrophobic with them hanging around. He turned and nodded to Ryan mingling with the tourists. Since he could see him he felt calmer about leaving her for a moment.
“Wait here for me, Scarlett. I just want to get something in the shop over there. I will be back in a moment. But I don’t want you to move from this seat.” He made sure his tone was punctuated with sufficient authority.
She smiled at him after following the direction of his eyes.
“Are you going to buy me flowers, Mr. Deucalion?”
He grinned.
“I haven’t been able to yet and I feel remiss,” he joked. “A lady deserves flowers. Will you stay here and not move?”
“Yes. You do know I can look after myself and I am not the fragile flower you think I am.”
“I know you are but you have to indulge my primitive need to protect you. Humor me.” He smiled.
She gave a small laugh and nodded watching him leave to go to the shop across the road.
He made sure he was quick, buying a dozen red roses and left the shop to return to the bench but when he looked up across the road she wasn’t there. What he saw instead shook him to the core. Weaving through the throng of extra tourists that had arrived to look around the market were Ross and who he recognized as Boris Litvenko clearly looking for Scarlett. Thankfully, they appeared not to have found her and had not seen him. To his relief they disappeared in the crowd walking to the far end of town away from him.
Alexander was frantic. Where the hell was she? Why couldn’t she just sit still? He pushed the roses at Ryan as he and the others ran towards him.
“She gave us the slip,” Ryan told his employer. “She’s good at it. She knew we were following you both when we first entered the town. I saw her look directly at me and she wasn’t very happy at having found me there. I take it you have seen Litvenko and Ross?”
“Yes. We have to find her.”
Alexander scanned his eyes across the multitude of tourists looking for her small curved shape moving between them. His men moved swiftly like dark shadows weaving in and around the people while he started popping into every shop, hoping to find her. His heart thudded until he thought it might burst. Alexander hadn’t been this frightened of losing anyone since… since… No, he couldn’t think about that now. But the image of the body of the thirteen-year-old suicide bomber he hadn’t been able to diffuse in time breaking apart in front of him entered his mind and replayed. The fear made every muscle underneath his black t-shirt tense as it had done many a night for years when it came to haunt him. It was the reason he left the army and began a new life in developing billion-dollar media companies, newspapers and more as well as diversifying into North Sea oil. But now it was being replaced with a vision of Scarlett being taken from him and raped.
Focus.
Alexander and his security men were met with stares from the long queue that had formed inside the exclusive bakery she’d mentioned to him as they’d walked through the town hand in hand. Why hadn’t he thought of trying there, first? She’d expressed a strong wish to take him there after their conversation last night in which he admitted to her that one of his favorite foods from the UK was surprisingly a Cornish Pasty. She had found it amusing and vowed to get him one so she could see him enjoying it.
She was there smiling and chatting to the woman serving her as though they were old friends as she handed her a paper bag
