When I got groceries, I’d already planned this breakfast. Fresh fruit for a salad, everything I needed for eggs benedict and waffles, and I even brought a jar of my mom’s homemade marmalade. My plans were a healthy and filling breakfast, something light for lunch, a healthy snack in between, and the smiley fries, and some meatloaf for dinner.

Apart from the food, I planned a day full of playing, cuddling, and Little time for my Boy. There would be some special sexy time as well, but that was something I would need to keep to myself. From the list of his limits and likes, I knew what Henry wanted, and I had every intention of exploring some of the things he liked today. I just hoped that Henry was as horny as he’d been yesterday. That had me laugh out loud. Charlie started to rub his head against my calf again.

“Yeah, highly unlikely your daddy won’t be horny as hell today. And stop rubbing up on me. No bacon for you, my friend. Well, at least not right now. It has to cook first.” It was official. I was not only a soft Daddy to my Boy, but I was also a big softie to his cat as well.

Chapter 11

Henry

Wrinkling my nose, I could smell Daddy, but when I reached over, he wasn’t there. Where was he, and when did he? Oh damn. I’d fallen asleep. Rubbing my eyes, I sat up and looked around my room. The sun was streaming in, so it must be morning—double damn. Not only did I fall asleep, but I slept through the night and missed valuable time with my Daddy. The smell of bacon tickled my nose as I rolled over and stared at the ceiling.

Why hadn’t I woken up when Caden had got up this morning? More importantly, why had I fallen asleep if I wanted to be awake so bad? Oh yes, because Daddy had held me close and had rubbed my back while I suckled on my sweet milk. Sneaky, mean Daddy. He’d given me the white chocolate milk even if he’d said that I couldn’t have one, and then he’d started to rub my back in circles until I’d fallen asleep. He’d robbed me of some precious moments with him. Angrily I pushed the covers back and got out of bed. It just wasn’t fair. I finally got a Daddy all for myself, and then he manipulated me with back rubs and white chocolate milk to make me fall asleep. So unfair and so mean.

The sight in my kitchen made me stop in my tracks. Caden must have showered because his hair was still wet, and he wore a different t-shirt, and instead of his sweatpants, he wore gray shorts. Charlie was circling Caden, and it looked like he was getting bacon. It was the best view, and I missed most of it.

I walked over to my kitchen area and crossed my arms in front of my chest.

“You betrayed me.” Caden whirled around, a plate with bacon and a spatula in his hands.

“Well, good morning to you, too, Cupcake.”

“Not your Cupcake. You betrayed me.”

“You just woke up. When did I betray you?” Caden raised his eyebrows and frowned.

“You made my bottle with white chocolate milk, and you rubbed my back until I fell asleep. I told you I didn’t want to sleep, and you made me,” I accused him. His lips twitched, and I swear to God if he laughed at me, I was going to throw something at him. Not that I had anything in my hands, but still.

“You needed your sleep.”

“I can decide on my own when I need to sleep, thank you very much.”

“Is that so.” Caden walked towards me and put the plate with the bacon down. The smell tickled my nose, but I was totally going to ignore how good it smelled and looked. But then Caden was snapping his fingers in front of my face, and I looked up again. “Are you telling me that Daddy doesn’t know what’s best for you?”

“Uh…” Did I? Well, I loved the back rubs, and I loved that I got another white chocolate milk even if he’d told me no when I’d asked for it. “Not really?”

“Then what are you mad at?”

“You made me fall asleep when I wanted to spend time with you.”

“Cupcake, all I did was cuddle you and give you some quality time with your Daddy.”

“Yeaaaahhhh, well.” He might have a point, maybe. The delicious smell of the bacon made my mouth water. God, I was so hungry. Snatching up a piece, I popped it into my mouth and looked back at Caden. “I’m still mad at you, but this is helping.” Then a thought struck me. “A cupcake would help me forgive you the rest of the way.”

Caden tipped his head back, and I could tell he was laughing so hard because he had to sign instead of speaking. “Nice try.” When he finished laughing, Caden pulled the plate away from my reach and pointed to the corner. “Now, go and stand in the corner facing the room until I finish cooking our breakfast.”

My mouth dropped open. “What? Why?”

“If you don’t know why, then you’ll have lots of time to think about it.” I opened my mouth to ask why again but closed it when Caden raised his eyebrow. “Corner. Now.”

I could only imagine the tone he used because of the look on his face spoke volumes. Caden was dead serious about the corner time. When I didn’t move, he tilted his head and pointed to the corner.

“Now, Henry.”

Uh oh. Pouting, I dragged my feet over to the corner and turned to face the room. Caden watched me for a second. Then he moved to the stove and continued with breakfast. My gaze went to the floor. He was making me a special breakfast, and I’d gotten out of bed and attacked him. Guilt turned my stomach into knots,
