“I figured Addison had already done it.”
“How did it come up anyway?” Addison asked.
“Uh…” Tommy said, looking like a deer in headlights.
“We were talking about you and him having sex,” Maddox said.
Addison’s head whipped around to me. “You and Tommy had sex?”
“Shh, not so loud.” I tried to be serious, but I was laughing. “I was going to tell you. I just hadn’t had time yet.”
“We’ve been together all day.”
“Okay, so it didn’t come up. But I swear, I was going to.”
Addison leaned in close. “Was it good?”
I leaned in, too. “He can hear you.” I sat up. “I think I need another drink. This conversation is all over the place.”
Wade seemed to show up out of thin air. “I come bearing gifts.” He set four drinks on the table. “I noticed you were getting low.”
“Thanks, Wade,” Addison said.
“You’re welcome.”
“What do we owe you?” Tommy asked.
“Oh, this round is free. The four of you are the best entertainment I’ve had all week. If there are any more secrets to tell, keep them coming.”
Wade walked away, and the four of us sat in silence for a minute, but then I opened my mouth and blurted out, “Tommy and Maddox have had sex in front of each other. And once in the same bed.”
Wade burst out laughing from behind the bar.

Tommy
Addison’s mouth dropped, and then she surprised me because she started laughing. She put her hand on her stomach and fell into Maddox; she was laughing so hard.
She sat up after about thirty seconds. “Olivia, when Wade said to tell more secrets, he was joking.”
“Oh.” She picked up her glass and sipped. “Okay.”
“How much have you had to drink?”
She grinned at me. “This is only my second one.”
“You’re going to be carrying her home,” Maddox said to me.
“I haven’t had that much to drink. I can walk just fine.”
Maddox snorted. “Wade makes his drinks strong.” He glanced at his wife. “You’re not going to give me any crap about Olivia’s latest reveal?” He then looked at me. “Thanks for keeping that to yourself, man.”
“Hey, Olivia thought you’d be mad at her about the whole catching you in the act thing. I was trying to make her feel better. I was proving you wouldn’t care.”
“And it worked. But I’m still trying to picture it,” Olivia said. “Didn’t the women care?”
“It’s not like we were putting on a show,” I said. “There was usually a bed or blankets or something to cover up with. The other person just happened to be in the same room. And this was all when we were young. It hasn’t happened in years.”
“God, I hope not, or I’m missing something,” Addison said.
“I meant, years before Maddox left the Teams.”
Addison leaned over to her husband and put her hand between his legs. “I don’t like the thought of you having sex with someone else.”
Maddox put his hand on Addison’s. “Baby, you know you’re the only one for me.”
“Good. And don’t you forget it.” She got up from her chair. “Meet me in the restroom. I need to talk to you about something.”
I snorted. “That’s what you’re calling it now? Talking?”
Maddox lifted his arms in a dramatic shrug and went after his wife.
After the two of them were gone, Olivia turned to me. “Addison told me that you messaged her and asked her not to say anything about the letters. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. I figured you were stressed out enough, and you didn’t need to have someone add to it.” I took a sip of my beer and noticed her outfit for the first time. “Did you have fun today? Are your clothes new?”
“I did have fun.” She sat back and spread her arms. “And these clothes are new. Everything I’m wearing is new.” She smiled and wiggled her eyebrows.
I laughed and pulled her to the edge of her chair. “What if I told you I don’t believe you and that I need to check to make sure you’re not lying?”
She shifted her knees apart. “I’d say, go ahead.”
I looked around, but I didn’t have to worry. The sun was on its way down, so the tinted windows blocked most of the sunlight out. And the lighting was dark in the rest of the place. Also, since night was coming, more people had filed in, so I knew that the bartender was busy and wouldn’t be paying attention to our table anymore.
I skimmed my hands up her thighs until I reached her hips, where I expected to find a thong or some other skimpy underwear, but all I met was bare skin.
I tugged her closer to me, so her knees were over my hips. “Olivia, are you naked under your skirt?”
She put her hand to her lips and pretended to be surprised. “Oh no, I did lie to you. It’s not new. I was born with it.”
“And what are we going to do about that?”
She smiled at me coyly. “What do you think we should do about it?”
“I have a few ideas.”
I still hadn’t brought out my purchases from the day before. After Olivia had received that letter at home, she’d been pretty shaken up. Last night wasn’t the right time. She’d needed comfort. But tonight was different.
“Are you going to share with the rest of the class?”
“Nope. You’re just going to have to wait to find out.” I brushed a hand between her legs, and she sucked in a breath. “But I’ll give you a hint. It has to do with this pretty pussy.”
I gently pushed a lone digit inside her. She grasped the table and moaned.
I loved how she responded to me. For someone who had been so rigid the first time I met her, she had really opened up to me.
I teased her a bit, not sure how far I wanted to take this in the bar.
“I feel like you’re always touching me, and I never touch you. I never get you off. It’s
