"I didn't know it was your shipment. I swear." He finally gets out. Fear now oozes from his pores. I stand up, straightening my jacket.
"Do you think me a fool?" I say raising my voice.
Shaking his head. "Nnooo sir. I swear to you, I had no idea. All we were told was that if we stole this shipment we would be rewarded. I needed the money, I am in debt over some gambling losses. I had no idea who we were stealing from. Please you have to believe me." His pulse quickens as he pleads for me to believe him. Narrowing my eyes at him I turn to Daveon, ignoring the man and his pathetic pleas.
"What do you think? Do you think it could be Antonio?"
"I'm not sure, I mean, I know the man is stupid, but he doesn’t have a death wish." Daveon replies.
"Your right, I don't know if this was him, he is too much of a coward to do something like this after he crossed me. Maybe we should pay him a little visit though. Remind him just how unwise it would be to cross me again." Daveons lips pull into a crooked smile.
"I would love nothing more. So what do we do with this fuck over here?" Pointing his thumb back over his shoulder at the man. I give a sharp nod, signaling Daveon to wrap this up. He is no use to me anyway, he has no information.
"Make sure you dispose of him where someone will come across him."
"Please no, I beg you, please!" The man interrupts me begging for his life. My lip turns upward in a sneer, cowardice is not something I am fond of.
Ignoring him I continue. "I want to make sure whoever..." Cut off again, he starts jumping around in the chair he is tied to. Making loud crashes and scrapes against the floor as if he will be able to escape. Rolling my eyes, I try to finish over the noise. "...I want whoever orchestrated this attack to see what happens when you cross me. I want an example to be made."
I clench my jaw as he is still jostling around and has now begun sobbing. I take in a deep breath trying to calm my agitation before it snaps. I have had about enough of this bullshit and noise. Pulling my pistol out from my waistline I reach behind me. Not looking to see where I am aiming I pull the trigger. Silence falls over the room. I don’t need to look back to know I hit my target. Without looking back I return my gun and walk out of the room. Daveon follows behind me till we reach the warehouse door.
"Are we still going to Antonio's?"
I shake my head. "Not tonight we will tomorrow. I need to get home. Clean up this mess and I'll get with you tomorrow." He nods as he walks back to the office. I can hear him barking orders at the men as I exit the warehouse. I roll my shoulders, still pissed off about losing my shipment, and at whoever had the balls to fuck with me. I will find who it is. It's only a matter of time. Not fully convinced it's not Antonio, lashing out in self pride and retribution, I plan on paying him a visit before I leave town. I jump on the bike and fly back to the beach house, eager to get back home to Liliana.

LILIANA
I don't know how long I sat on the floor before I picked myself up. Now cold and completely soaked, I look around at the mess I have to clean up. My head is now pounding from the headache I was rewarded for my ugly crying session. I open up the cupboards grabbing out a handful of towels, to start soaking up all the water from the tile and part of the carpet where it leaked out into the bedroom. Draining the cold water from the tub I decide to take a quick shower instead. Adjusting the water I strip out of my wet dress. Practically having to peel it off my body. Steam fogging up the bathroom as I step into the shower and under the water. After a quick wash to freshen up, I turn off the water and reach my hand out to grab my towel off the rack. Swatting my arm around I try feeling for it in my blind search. "Looking for this?" Nicoli's deep voice asks, sounding thick and rough. I yelp, not realizing he was home already. Startled that I hadn't heard him come in, I peek my head out of the shower.
"Nicoli, give that back." Reaching my hand out toward him for the towel.
"Come out and get it." He taunts, holding the towel just out of my reach.
Unbelievable.
"Nicoli I'm so not playing around. I have had a shit ass night and I don't feel like playing these games right now." I snap.
Concern maring his face, he looks at me. "Did something happen when I left?"
Not wanting to admit I flooded the bathroom while having a breakdown on the phone with Gianna, to come in and have a full blown meltdown in the bathroom, I lied. "No, I just don't feel good is all." Clearly not buying my lie, but not arguing with me either, he hands me the towel before he settles back against the countertop. "Well, are you going to leave so I can get dressed?"
"No." He casually folds his arms, watching me. Rolling my eyes at him I go back behind the curtain drying myself off in the shower, hidden from view. Wrapping the towel around myself I step out of the shower. Trying to ignore him I grab the sweats and shirt he had set on the bed for me to change into.
