smelling like sex,” she laughs, as she links her arm through mine.

Completely unfazed by my bra on show.

My legs aren’t ready to climb the stairs right now, so we take the lift, and I take a sip of the shit she bought me once we’re inside.

Oh my god. It’s almost as good as the sex.

Almost.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN

(Luna)

God I feel good this morning. After training Red last night, I ordered a steak from downstairs, showered, and slept like a dream.

Good sex will do that for you.

Sadly though, it can’t happen again. I got carried away, lost in the moment. I don’t know these people and I’m just letting them crash down my walls. No more.

Red promised we would be able to get another Frappuccino at lunch today. It’s vital. I need them more than oxygen.

I feel a little more on edge today, having not seen Wren since lunch. So I’ve got to keep myself on high alert, because I know she’s going to strike again.

I enter the lobby and it’s like déjà vu. Four guys and three girls all sat around making small talk. Sounds like the start of a joke. Wren is practically wrapped around Roman like a second skin, and a foreign feeling washes over me.

Am I ... Jealous?

Fuck no. I don’t need to be dealing with that as well. Keeping my gaze fixed on the door, I head in that direction.

“Luna baby, wait up,” yells Oscar.

I don’t want to stop while Wren is behind me, so I step outside walking to Red, and turn to watch him approach.

“So, how’s my favorite girl this morning?” he asks.

His cheese is next level and as much as I want to cringe, it has me smiling.

“Depends Oscar, am I your favorite girl this morning?”

My hands lift to straighten his tie. He brings the flirt out in me, I can’t help it, and I didn’t say no flirting. Which is good, because with him standing this close, surrounded by his scent, he’s intoxicating. He almost smells fruity, but with a woodsy undertone and the tiniest hint of vanilla.

The grin that spreads across his face is hot as sin, but I love downplaying his effect on me.

“Baby girl, you’re my favorite girl in the morning, in the afternoon, in my dreams,” he purrs.

Raising his hand to stroke my throat, it sends a shiver down my spine at the skin on skin contact. These guys have me playing with fire. I probably shouldn’t be giving Oscar my attention after yesterday with Roman, but I was honest when I said I like more than one partner. After Tommy, I decided not giving all my time and attention to one person would keep the emotion and commitment out of the mix, and so far so good. I get the sex and occasional date night, but nothing serious.

“So, I just wanted to let you know that Rome told us about yesterday, and ...”

“What do you mean he told you about yesterday?” I say as I step back out of his space, making his hand drop away.

I glance to Red to make sure I’m not the only one hearing this. The shocked look on her face and her hand to her chest tells me he really did just say that.

“I mean, you can see there are more guys than girls here, and it’s always been that way. So, we always keep each other in the loop with where our dicks are going. Plus, within Featherstone it is very common to have multiple parties in a relationship. Securing connections between families and all that.”

Is he fucking serious? The scowl on my face has him spluttering some more.

“Honestly baby, it’s all good. We’ve shared before, and I just wanted to let you know it doesn’t change anything between us, okay?”

Change anything between us?

There is no us.

This guy.

His mouth always has to fucking ruin it. I can’t help the grim chuckle that escapes my lips.

“Every time Oscar. Every. Fucking. Time. You start off so well, then your mouth ruins it. Now, Fuck off.” I grind, linking arms with Red and moving away.

He looks like a wounded puppy, but I couldn’t give a shit, he will be wounded for real if he doesn’t learn to shut his mouth. Glancing over my shoulder, I can see him trying to think of something to say, but it’d be pointless right now.

“What’s going on out here?” Kai asks, as he walks towards us, he can tell from our faces the conversation went south.

“You want to comment on my private life too Kai?” I ask, blunt as hell.

He holds my stare for a moment, his body language remaining relaxed, with his hands still resting in his pockets.

“Nope,” he replies, heading towards a Rolls.

“Are you coming, Sakura?” He calls, with his back to me.

Red squeezes my arm and nods in his direction. I don’t need to be told twice.

Kai holds back letting me climb in first. The door shuts and the partition is already up. We pull away and I’m happy to bask in Kai’s silent company, but it seems he’s talkative today.

“So, what did Oscar say exactly?”

“Does it matter?” I sigh.

“Well considering the size of his mouth, things could be, misinterpreted.” A knowing smile touching his lips.

“He just wanted to let me know that you’re all aware I fucked Roman yesterday, but not to worry because he isn’t put off by it, seeing as you guys share anyway.”

Wait.

When it comes from my mouth and not Oscar’s, it sounds like my kind of fun, and hot as hell.

“See how it sounds so much better when it’s not Oscar saying it?” Kai says, raising an eyebrow at me. I can only bring myself to hum in response.

“Rome mentioned, you were anti-commitment because you like dick too much to just settle for one.”

I did say that to him, and I wasn’t lying, but I didn’t realize it would be hot gossip.

“I don’t like being hot topic Kai, I think that’s my issue here.”

“Surprisingly, Rome didn’t give
