I come up behind her and lightly graze my hands over her waist dragging my fingers against her stomach. I feel the shiver run through her and it runs straight to my dick, but she just made me a bitch for losing. So while she least expects it, I tighten my grip on her waist and lift her off the ground. The squeal that escapes her lets me know I definitely caught her off guard, and before she can whip out one of her brutal moves on me I throw her further into the water.
She sinks under for just a moment then her face bobs just above the waves.
“You’re trouble,” she calls, and I can’t help but grin.
“You love it.”
She doesn’t respond and I don’t expect her to either. I didn’t think it was possible for her to look sexier, but the wet look suits her. When I near her she splashes water at me out of nowhere and stuns me, I didn’t think I would get to see a playful side of her like this.
Wanting to make the most of her letting her hair down, I drench her back. We relax and goof around in the water until we can’t take anymore. It feels amazing to not have to be serious for a while.
It’s still just warm enough to be happy for the sun to dry you off so we sit and devour the snacks I threw in the cooler. I lay back enjoying the windbreaker and the privacy it offers us, not that there are many people around this part of the beach, but it feels like we’re in a bubble.
Checking my phone, I’ve missed numerous messages off of all of the guys and I can’t help but smirk, jealous fuckers. Luna catches my grin and raises an eyebrow at me, she doesn’t even ask but I show her anyway. Below the picture we sent, the guys have been going crazy.
Roman: Where the fuck are you?
Parker: Is it normal to be jealous of your cheek?
Kai: Fuck.
Roman: Where
Roman: Are
Roman: You?
Parker: Is it normal to be jealous of a motorcycle?
Roman: I swear to god Oscar!!!
Kai: Roman we all know you’re acquainted with her. Leave him alone.
Roman: Fuck off Kai. Oscar you better not let your mouth make her mad I swear!
Kai: Green is not your color my friend.
Parker: Okay, it’s official I’m jealous of Oscar. Oscar! Who knew?
Parker: It saddens me to admit this. Send help, or Luna. Preferably Luna!
The laugh she releases is infectious.
“You guys are crazy, and I think your group chat just scarred me,” she manages when she catches her breath.
“Best have another selfie, you know, so they don’t worry.”
I’m going for the innocent look, but I know it’s not working, yet she still entertains me.
This time I take a picture of us both squished in, hair slicked back, smiling wide at the camera. This picture is happiness. Joy, that’s the feeling I’ve been struggling with since we got here. Joy. Fuck I like it.
I keep the phone held between us waiting for their responses, and we don’t have to wait long.
Kai: How beautiful. Not you asshole. She is incredibly beautiful with that smile on her face.
Roman: You better make sure she stays smiling like that or it’s all your fault.
Roman: Don’t think I haven’t figured out where you are.
Parker: Wow. Why did you have to stand so close I can’t crop you out of the picture!
She smiles and rolls her eyes at their antics, while I respond.
Oscar: You can fuck off, she’s mine right now. Don’t make me keep her.
She steps back and leaves me to banter with them. As she lays back on the cushions I take more notice of the tattoo on her ribs.
Holy shit, that’s …
“Fuck you and Parker have the same tattoo huh?”
Her eyes go wide, and she looks panicked.
“He chose it out of my portfolio, whilst I was setting up. I showed him that I had it and that seemed to make him even more determined.”
“Calm down baby girl. No need to explain, but do I get matching too?”
She can’t tell if I’m joking or not, and secretly, neither can I.
“What do your tattoos mean?” I ask.
She looks me over, all coy.
“You have to tell me about yours first.”
“I can do that, no problem.”
Stretching out my left arm which is covered in a tattoo sleeve.
“Every single tattoo on here represents a video game. Pacman, Crash Bandicoot, Sonic. They’re all games I played as a child before I found out about the real world I was living in. This is a permanent memory of when I was truly happy and allowed to be myself, before all the obligations came.”
Pointing to my chest, “This is my only other tattoo, and it is my bloodline symbol.”
It’s a Celtic symbol that every heir to the bloodline has had to get over the years. I hate it.
“So, now you show me yours.”
“You’ve seen my feather. Not many people know that a feather can represent strength. It’s underestimated, like me,” she whispers, making me itch to touch it.
She flips over showing me her back. Lifting her hair off her neck I see three arrows and an upside-down crescent moon.
“This is the symbol for Diana, Goddess of the hunt. I actually didn’t choose it, Rafe did, and with you saying you have a bloodline symbol it does make me wonder,” she sighs.
I trail my eyes down her spine where she has five symbols trailing down delicately.
“And the symbols are a saying an old friend would say all the time. Then she left and I got this to remember her.”
I can tell she doesn’t want to explain further so I don’t push.
Instead I lay down beside her and she turns so we are facing each other. I could get lost in her eyes. Which blows my mind, I’m usually good for getting lost in pussy then bowing out, but there is something about her that makes me feel
