'Is he here to watch me?'
"Buttons," Ofelia called, interrupting my thoughts. "We've got a private party, they rented the club for their entertainment," she added.
"What's the occasion?"
"Bachelorette party," she said.
"Seriously." I turned away from the mirror to look at her face."I'm not supposed to be doing this. I'm not."
Ofelia's face said enough. She had a sorry look and felt pity for me.
I didn't need sympathy.
I don't believe in god anymore. I don't think he even exists because if he did, he would come to rescue people in trouble and bad people would get punished for their wrongdoing.
"I'll make sure security is tight," she said and left, closing the door behind her.
I carried my mask in my hands and tied it across my eyes. To hide my identity, just like the supers in the movies. Except I was no hero.
A knock came again on my dressing room door, followed by a voice, "You ready?" and Ofelia peeped.
"Who was in charge of this party?" I asked. Bitterness was definite in my tone.
She scratched her eyebrows with her manicured long fingernail, "Judin."
"I can't be doing bachelorette parties, Ofelia. I'm barely even eighteen."
"I tried, but you know Judin, her eyes are on the price."
"What about phones?" I asked, continuing to ignore her question.
"They'll be collected at the door. Two men will be in front of the stage. The guard and I will be guarding at the end of the stage near the stairs. So relax and focus on your performances, buttons."
"I'm going to burn this place one day, so save your ass," I claimed.
With the last touch of red lipstick on my full lips, I looked at myself one last time before leaving my room. Hiding my innocence, I took on a more professional outlook.
I made my way to the backstage. Lyla and Shawna were waiting for me. They're my backup dancers. We joined our hands, said a small prayer, ending with crossing, and whispered, "Amen."
We got into our position, and I was in the air on a hoop. In just a few minutes, the entertainment got into full swing. On my cue, Diego began to play the music. In the intimate, sleazy surroundings, I began the evening cabaret act, swaying with the music and slowly moving my body seductively. My voice went through the microphone singing this song, written by 'ME.'
Everyone has their own definition for
Fantasy, Temptation, and Attraction
The perfect combination of these three
is
Me!
I'm your Fantasy— the one night of ecstasy
Your dream girl, living in the real world
On a bed of roses, as the space between us closes
I'll grant you three wishes
Love, Pleasure, and Kisses
Everyone here wants to be with me, alone.
Hearts with one purpose, to fancy passion and moan.
You wish to visit me, and me alone.
Temptation— your physical manifestation
My sensual touch, that seemed too much
Blow, suck, with sweet licks
Don't hold your breath and count to three
Where love will spring
Beyond Heaven, Earth, and Sea
(With me, with me, oooh baby, only me.)
My body will be the center of your—Attraction,
A perfect description for one night of passion
All friction, from the heat and the action
There are no words, only
Satisfaction!!
(With me, with me, oooh baby, only me.)
Fantasy, Temptation, and Attraction
The perfect combination of these three
is
Me!
Only me, only me,
It's me.

I performed at the club on Sunday evening too. Doing the same thing, the one I hated to do, but with a brand new song and dance moves.
Ooh so magnetic
And so romantic
When the night passes, when the earth sleeps
You become this luminous magic
But your glory is nothing without me.
Because I'm the sun baby
I'm the one,
(The only one, only the one)
You glow because of me
You shine because of me
You're visible, in the sky. Do you know why?
Because I'm the sun and I'm the one.
There may be twinkles lingering around you
So high up in the sky
But when they come near me
They fall, like a shooting star, you see
Because I'm the sun
The only one
I'm a day
you're the night
I'm blazing bright
and you're the radiant light
I ignite heat, I'm hot
Because I'm the sun
(Baby)
I'm the one.
You revolve around someone else
I'm the power
I'm the Star
And you don't know what I'm capable of
Because I'm the sun, the only one.
Don't try to touch me, you'll get burned.
Don't dare to stare, you'll go blind
I'm unkind. keep that in mind
I'm the sun. I'm the sun.
The only one.
I'm the sun.

CHAPTER 9
Monday morning, I woke up with a frown thinking about Leo. After the horrible two days of a tedious weekend, I was sad and depressed. Things were changing, and I was beginning to like how things were going with Leo.
But now I was insured it was over with him. He won't even want to see me ever again, just like I always wanted, huh? I felt tears already running down my cheeks.
‘I hate my life.’

I zipped my hoodie and closed the front door, and began to walk, playing my podcast. Startled and discovered Leo, he was leaning against his car—waiting. It was very unexpected, but it placed a small smile on my face.
"Leo—"
"Get in the car." He said sternly. He was mad.
I pulled the earphones out of my ears, and quietly I went and sat inside the car.
The car ride was even more reserved. We'd passed the school, turn, road, building, way, altogether. We were going somewhere else.
"Leo..."
Leo accelerated the car speed to shut me off. He was angry. Leo was there in the club, he saw me. I began to worry a little. It doesn't matter what he says or thinks of me? The fact would not change.
We reached a parking lot of the woodland. Leo got out of the car and began to walk into the woods. I simply followed suit. Leo suddenly grabbed my hand, leading us through the woods.
Once we got a little deeper, the anticipation was hitting me, and I couldn't take the silent treatment anymore, so I spoke, "Leo, wait." I stopped walking. He dropped my hand but never turned to see my face.
"Are you disgusted by me?" I asked and bowed my head down in shame.
"Aries."
