"The threat of losing you will always linger in m-my h-heart. I-I'm scared, Leo. I-I've lost everyone close to me, and I-I can't afford to l-lose y-you too." I struggled to speak. "Oh...Aries..." His grip got a little tighter. Leo carried me out of the bathroom and to the bed.
"You'll never lose me to anyone. The spirit may have made a mistake choosing my mate for me, but my heart did not." His eyes were holding mine. "I Love You, Aries. I'll die, even before my heart betrays me and hurts you." He said and kissed me. Then slowly went down on his knees, bowed his head, holding my right hand in his.
"I've already marked you without your consent, without asking you, please forgive me." He looked up. "But today I'm asking you to be mine. Aries Spring, do you take me as your mate?" His expression, his genuine truth in it, got my heart convinced.
"Yes," I said.
Leo rose from the ground and grabbed my face and kissed me. My lips were moving against him as I kissed him back—passionately, giving him everything I had, letting him know how much I love him as well. Our emotions were getting the best out of us. We pulled back only to breathe, but then his next sentence left to gasp me for air.
"Aries, move in with me."
"What?!"
"Move in with me, in my house, in my room. Live with me. Forever."
"L-Leo...I-I can't—"
"Why not?" He retorted.
"Well, don't you think it's too soon?"
"If you're looking for a reason, you're always going to find one." He spat angrily. "Aries, I don't want you to stay in that house, where you're constantly terrified of certain someone?" He said, his jaws locked tightly together as if angry.
I looked at the ground, feeling sad, disappointed, and scared as I was angry. If only Leo knew why?
"Aries, I need to know what happened that night, you ran into the woods?" He asked with sudden seriousness in his tone. I leaned back to look at him in utter shock.
"YOU... It was you who saved me? Then why can't I remember anything?"
He stiffens, looking up at me as if he got caught for hiding something illegal.
"That's because I wiped it out from your memory. I-I'd ask a certain someone to use a spell on you." He confessed.
My face seemingly froze. I was just getting used to Leo— and the whole werewolf thing and now... spells??
Does that mean witches and other supernatural creatures exist as well? I thought to ask him later.
"Spell?!" I asked, looking at his guilt-stricken face. "Why would you do that?"
Leo looked away from my face, then released a heavy breath.
"Because, when Leon jumped out of the bushes, you'd have that look on your face, the deathly scared look..." Leo started telling me the missing part of that night's story, and everything began to come to mind. I remembered; this big animal snarled viciously, made an aggressive growl, and opened his mouth, showing his bared teeth in a predatory way. Then, he leaped—
I thought I was going to die. That was the awakening moment of how my life was going to end, killed, and eaten by this wild animal, and I remember being scared to death, and then I passed out.
I snapped out of the flashback. Leo saw me with worried eyes, and he continued.
"I was just afraid of how you were going to react if you remembered and if you knew who I was, you'd hate me." He said.
"Do you've any idea what you put me through the whole week?"
"I know, and all I can say is, I'm sorry."
"Leo!" I jumped onto him, happily. He was startled by my actions.
"Thank you for saving me on that horrible night." I pecked a kiss on his lips.
"If I'd known this is how you'd have reacted, I could have told you sooner." He teases with a small chuckle. "I'll always protect you. I want you to be safe, so please tell me, why did you run in the woods? Scared, alone, and in your pajamas?" He asked gently. “Does he hurt you?”
I took my gaze away from him.
We never had a serious conversation before, and he has been very patient with me, but I know, he was over his wit here, I can sense that much. He was trying to work things as easy, as comfortable for me—without pressuring me.
A relationship is like a bridge, a structure, firmly built on trust. If we were to have a future together, I shouldn't be afraid of telling Leo things freely or shy away from it. It's a small step towards building the relationship.
Wolves are very territorial that much I know. When it comes to their Mates, they consider their domain. They will fight, kill if anyone messes with their other half.
I swallowed hard and peered through my lashes. Leo, curious blue eyes, started to look a lot like an angry glower.
I looked away and tried my best to avoid his gaze when I told him.
"K-Ken was trying to get in... m-my room, and so—"
Leo's sharp talon shot out.

I reached the club. I humbly requested Leo not to come with me after seeing his outrageous act of anger in the hospital. He thrashed the room. He freaking flipped the hospital bed straight through the window.
"GET THE FUCK OFF ME! I'M GOING TO TEAR HIM ALIVE. LET ME GO!" He growled like a bloodlust feral. Xander, Jedrek, and three others had to pin him down from doing further destruction. I felt helpless in this situation.
"How dare he?" Leo roared of anger. Fear rippled through me as I stayed rooted at my place, staring at him. The animal inside him was viciously aggressive.
"Leo, I'm scared of you right now. Please calm down." I told the truth, as my heart thumped in my chest.
Leo immediately froze on the spot. He probably sensed my fear as his eyes met mine. I kept talking to him, and the effect began
