"Shit! I messed up. I need to fix this and right now." He agreed gruffly.

Aries was sitting with Sara and Haley at the pack house's dining hall. Vivian was in there too, sitting chatting with other girls in the same dining room.
Leo walked in the dining hall with Jedrek, Marcus, and two other Omegas. Vivian saw him and got out of her seat, smiling when he just walked past her and made his way to Aries. She was busy picking at her food—suffering from emotional and mental distress. She took a surprising second look when she saw Leo walking towards her.
"Hello, Aries." He greeted her.
"Hi." Aries returned the gratitude with a smile.
"I'm sorry for disturbing your lunch, but this is important, if you could spare a few minutes, I would like to apologize to you, for last night—"
"Leo—" She cuts him off.
"Please, let me," he made a gentle request.
"I'm very sorry for the way I behaved and mistreated you last night. I should have been with you the entire time. Please accept my humble apology." Leo bowed his head to show his respect and kindness. Aries immediately stood up, feeling uneasy about his grand gesture.
'Leo, what are you doing?' she asked telepathically.
'As an Alpha, I'm apologizing to Luna.' He shrugged. And before she could talk, Leo spoke again.
'I disrespected you in front of others, so I'm apologizing to you in front of everyone?'
'I don't understand how you think sometimes? Can we talk just privately?' She glared at him, but Leo only grinned.
Blinded by anger, Leo had also missed his most significant opportunity. Ever since he'd met Aries, he wanted to invite her to his house, his bedroom, to fill the room with her scent. And he wasn't going to miss this opportunity again.
"I didn't even realize it was your first time visiting our house." Leo gazed at her. "Aries, would you do me the honor to take you on a tour of the house?"
"Yes, yes, she would love to," Sara interjected happily and clapped. Haley rolled her eyes. But Sara wasn't even sorry for doing it. Everybody laughed and started to clap as well, except for Vivian.

CHAPTER 22
While on the tour of the house. Leo shared his funny childhood stories with me, how he wanted to be inside the dishwasher, and wondered instead of the shower he could get himself cleaned in there.
"By the way, I never say sorry to anyone. Maybe an 'oops' slips out now and then, but never an apology," he states. I just shook my head. ‘Arrogant.’
"I also never shared the pie you made with anyone. Not even with my parents." He said.
"Thank you for letting me know that. It made my day." I smiled.
I stopped at the stairs. There were pictures of Leon when he was a pup, and they were all hung on the wall going up the stairwell. I admired each and all of them. Leon looked so cute!
"My mom tends to take many pictures, and she'd them hung all over the place. I got very frustrated by this."
"Hmm, that's why in some of them, Leon looked like Mr. Grumpy."
"No, he's not." He denied and I laughed at his reactions.
"Well, I'll be doing the same with all my puppies," I said gleefully and began to climb the stairs. But Leo had stopped where he was standing and had a kind smile on his lips.
The conversation was flowing well—until we came and stood at the door frame of a bedroom. Leo cleared his throat before speaking.
"T-this is my bedroom." There was a trace of nervousness in his voice. Leo hesitated to go in even though it was his bedroom. Neither of us made any move. My heart was pounding in my chest. We haven't spent any quality time together, and suddenly standing in front of his bedroom seemed weird.
I dared and took a step in and walked deeper inside the room. I could feel Leo relaxed instantly, and he soon followed in. I walked towards the window, glancing out the main window, I could see the view of the woods, spread wide and far away.
The peaks of the mountains and the sun were above us. It means the windows were facing west, which meant the room will always be filled with sunlight throughout the day. How lovely...
Leo never came close to me or put his arms around me like he always had done before.
'Had I lost the spark?' my thoughts convince me. Our relationship was downhearted, and it was putting a strain on our bond as well. We needed time for recovery, so before it got any more awkward. I thought it's best to leave.
"Thank you for bringing me over and showing me the house. It's lovely."
"D-do you want to stay?" He was even hesitating to ask. If it were any other time, we would be in bed by now and making out. It was clear that he still has not even come close to forgive me.
"No, I can see you don't want me to." I turned around to walk away.
"Aries." He calls.
"I know you still can't trust me to forgive me. I think we both need some time out, Leo. So... I was thinking of going to New York and completing my college education."
"I don't want you to leave," he said.
"No, you don't get to decide everything, Leo." I turned slightly to face him.
"Aries, I truly need you here." And he turned too. I silently scoffed under my breath.
"Okay, then kiss me," I said, looking straight into his eyes.
"What?" His eyes widened with surprise.
"Show me how much you want me, need me, Leo?"
He closed his eyes as if looking at me hurt him, and that look made my heart—throbbed with pain.
The silence was screaming in
