"Fuck!! What are you doing?" He yelled, and I shut the door quickly. The car screeched. Leo tried to stabilize the vehicle as it wiggled from side to side. I closed my eyes tightly, and the car came to an abrupt stop.
"Are you crazy! Who opens the door of a moving vehicle?"
"I'm sorry I'm so sorry. I don't know why I did that." I covered my face with my hands. Then I peeked from the corner of my eye.
"Are you okay, Leo?"
"What do you think? You scared the shit out of me." He shut his eyes hard.
"Are you suicidal or something?” Jesus." He ran his hands over his face through his hair.
I pulled my legs up and hid my face in them and started to cry. The pain from the stomach stung harshly, but I didn't care about the pain as much as I cared for making Leo mad.
I heard the sound of a seat belt retracting. "Aries, look at me."
“No,” I said and tears were running down even more from embarrassment now.
“Hey, please,” he said gently.
I wiped my eyes on the sleeves of my hoodie and looked at him. He'd turned his whole body to face me.
"It was a dangerous move, don't you ever try to pull that stunt again. You understand?"
I nodded and apologized again.
"Good." He said and repositioned himself to face the steering wheel, pulled the seatbelt, buckled himself, and started the car's ignition.
We were back on the road again. Leo was staring at the way in front, and I was too. It was quiet between us, and I only spoke to give him directions to the house.
"Just stop at the curb over here. I'll walk to the house."
"Are you serious? I don't think you can walk all by yourself. Let me come with you." He unfastened his seatbelt.
"No. Please. Thank you for all your help."
Leo never argued and parked the car at the curb behind a pickup truck. I freed myself from the seat belt and opened the door. I winced at the discomfort before moving forward. Leo was already at my side, waiting for me to ask for help. I somehow managed with the support of the car and stepped out. In the meantime, Leo got my backpack. Now the worry was, I need to make it to the house without falling.
"I guess that's all the help you need from me then." He said, holding my backpack in front of me. I took it from his hand.
"Take some painkillers and make sure you stay hydrated. Try to avoid any physical activities for a couple of days." He instructed me and I nodded.
He gently reached forward and caressed my cheek. Very naturally, I leaned on his touch. Aware of my no-touch policy I let him and also he had this sweet smile, that I got to see again.
"Please take care of yourself." There was a feeling of concern in his voice. It warmed my heart to know he was so worried for me. I had no one in my life that would show such a kindness to me when I got hurt.
I watched him drive off and stayed until he was gone. There was something about Leo that was capturing my heart, and I just couldn't point out what it was, though.

A Glimpse on Leo's P.O.V.
'Was I harsh with her?' He kept growling at himself. His icy scowled face had scared her. When he shouted at her, he was indeed harsh, and that made her cry. Instead of consoling her, he yelled at her. Leo was beating himself up for his behavior.
But why? Why would she do something like that? She opened the fucking door of a moving car. He kept asking this question to himself. Her action hitched his anger at that very moment and irritated him. At the same time, Leo felt he was wrong for yelling at her.
She is going to think of me as an angry madman, and she is just going to ignore me and keep more distances, and run away from me.
He kept thinking, he had lost the only chance he had with her.
He wondered if there was something that he had said that freaked her out? Which may have influenced her to open the door of the moving car. At the time, he did not stress this because he did not want to frighten her more than she already was.
It took much patience for him to refrain himself from holding her in his arms to comfort her, soothe her pain.
However, in the end, what stuck to him was, he had noticed her watching him fondly, and despite her saying 'Touch me not'—she savored that tiny moment when Leo touched her cheek. Moreover, that reaction gladdened his heart for the rest of the evening.

CHAPTER 4
I dragged my backpack on the ground as I made my way to the house.
Skye saw me walking in from the front door and came to see me in her wheelchair.
"A friend?" She asked with a raised brow.
"I don't want to talk about it," I said and stomped my way to the bedroom before she had a chance to ask me with more questions.
"I saw that guy dropping you off," she commented.
I halted in my tracks. "How do you know?"
"I went outside to get a package, and I saw you both in front of Danger's House."
"It's a Dangar." I corrected her.
"Did something happen?" She asked, rather curiously, ignoring my correction.
"Ugg... I did something stupid, and now he thinks I'm suicidal." I sighed heavily and sat down on a small chair next to the door.
"If he thinks you're crazy, then he's the biggest nuts even to think that." She said, aiding me.
"I also told him that he smelled good."
"You said what to a boy?" Skye burst out laughing. My eyes darted at her face. Her pink face—now turned red. I never heard or have seen her laugh before. She looked so beautiful while laughing. I wished her to be like this
