Griffin strung some hushed compliments in the air as he grunted his release into my mouth. While Griffin’s balls continued to empty, he reminded me not to waste a drop and swallow it all. Eager to earn his approval, I quickly followed directions. As soon as he pulled out of my mouth, he tucked his cock back into his pants and gestured for me to sit in the chair. He walked away from me for a few moments, but then returned with two ice-cold bottles of water and handed me one before he sat in the chair next to me.
“I can see that you’re dedicated,” Griffin commented dryly.
We sat in silence for a few minutes while my mind tried to unravel what had just happened.
“So you’re engaged,” I muttered.
“Yes.”
“And you don’t condone cheating,” I added.
“Correct.”
I didn’t even care about the double standard.
“When’s the wedding?”
“I’m not sure. She’s planning it. We’ve gone through several date changes already.” Griffin paused to guzzle some water. “She’s a bit of a free spirit and flies around by the seat of her pants, throwing my money around.”
This bitch didn’t seem like his type at all. I left Griffin’s office feeling as high as could be. On my way downstairs, I thought about what he had said about cheaters and his “free spirit” fiancée. To me, it sounded like she flaunted his money, and in essence, was a gold-digger, but Griffin clearly detested gold-diggers.
Somehow, I needed to show Griffin that she was just after his money.
Chapter Five
Riley
Roaming around the first floor of Griffin’s house with a glass of whiskey in my hand made me feel like this party was going to be a lot different than the first party at Griffin’s. I wasn’t here as a guest; I was helping Griffin. He was relying on me to help him find those who didn’t have morals. Griffin told me that he would stroll by his den every half hour to see if I had caught anyone. He was very clear, though; he wanted the women to come to me rather than me pursuing them.
As I walked around the house, making myself visible to those who had been flirting with me off and on at the office, I saw that fucking bitch, Kathryn. From a distance, I watched her laugh with some of the women from work. Were the women that dense that they could tell how fake she was? I wondered if Kathryn knew how many people at Evans Financial wanted to bang her fiancé … or how many had had their mouths on him.
She had straight, jet black hair that went down to the middle of her back and very pale skin. I knew that wasn’t her natural hair color. The fair skin and blue eyes told me that she was most likely of Nordic descent, and jet black hair wasn’t a common trait. Kathryn wore a bright blue dress with a completely open back, and pleated fabric gathered at the small of her back. The size of her frame told me that those voluptuous tits she was flaunting all over the place were also fake.
She was just one completely fake bitch. I knew she was nothing more than a gold-digger. I glanced down the hallway at Griffin’s den and could see the door was wide open, and the light was on. When my eyes flicked back to Kathryn, I was surprised to see that she had been looking at me. She smiled flirtatiously when our eyes connected. I looked down the hallway at the den’s open door. I could show Griffin that she was nothing more than what I had her pegged as—an unfaithful gold-digger.
Was it wise for me to veer off the path of only baiting employees of Evans Financial? It would be a huge risk, but if Griffin saw her for what she truly was, then maybe he would see that I can be more to him.
I tossed back the rest of my drink and set the empty glass on the small wooden table beside the stairs. My hands were sweating as I wandered down the long hallway. I stopped twice to make chitchat with a few employees. Both times I managed to glance in the direction of Kathryn, and both times, she was eyeing me. I had been talking with a couple that was closest to Griffin’s den, and when I moved away, I decided that I’d just walk into the den and see if she appeared.
Once I was inside his den, I looked around and remembered the last time I was in here. My eyes focused on the two chairs that faced one another by the window. I longed to sit there opposite Griffin and talk, or just stare at one another.
“Hi,” a woman’s voice greeting me pulled me away from my fantasy and into the present. I turned to find Kathryn standing there with her arms behind her, holding onto the edge of the door. The placement of her hands made her fake breasts push forward, drawing my eyes to them.
“Hello,” I politely replied, even though I wanted to call out everything fake about her. “You’re Griffin’s girlfriend,” I said as politely as I could, hoping she’d get the jab about me recognizing her as the girlfriend, but not the fiancée.
“Yes, I’m his fiancée,” Kathryn said in a fake sweet tone.
I hated this bitch.
“You know, until the announcement at work, I had no idea he was involved with someone.
