“Don’t fuckin’ put your hands on her!” I roar. I’m about to pound the shit out of the asshole but then I feel her hand on my arm. It’s like a goddamn inferno burning through my veins. I don’t look up at her, just keep my head down.
“Thank you for that but don’t hurt him. They will call the cops quick as shit around here,” she says.
She’s protecting me. I nod my head not saying a word, shoving the asshole back toward the dance floor until she tries to walk away. Then I move in, pinning her body against the wall facing away from me. I lean down and inhale her scent as her body trembles.
“You smell so fuckin’ good,” I rasp near her ear.
“What are you doing?”
“Somethin’ I wanted to do for so long,” I whisper near her ear. Fuck she smells like peaches and heaven. I want to taste her, to see if she tastes like that but I need to stop this. I need to stop it now.
“Who are you?”
“Someone you should stay away from,” I tell her huskily. Her body, her scent - it’s all making me dizzy. No woman has ever been able to do this to me before and I love it. Every sick second of it. I lower my head to her shoulder, pressing a soft kiss to her exposed flesh. She shivers and a gasp escapes her perfect lips. My cock hardens and I know she can feel it.
“Then why are you still here?” she asks me breathlessly.
“Because I’m not a smart man.” She giggles a little and that causes her ass to move against my cock. I groan when I hear her friend calling out to her. Just as quickly as I pinned her to the wall, I’m releasing her and hauling ass out of here. I can’t let her know who I am. She can’t see my face.
I quickly make my way back to the bar to grab another drink because after that little interaction I’m going to need it.
Chapter Four
Harley
I dance in the sexiest way possible knowing he’s out there somewhere. I can feel his eyes on me, but I can’t pinpoint him. His scent still lingers in my nose and it swallows me whole. I’ve locked gazes with a few guys standing around but none of them felt right. None of them were him.
“He kissed you?” Angel asks once more.
“My shoulder, Angel. He didn’t kiss me,” I tell her once again. I wished to God he would have kissed me, but he didn’t. The way his hard body was pressed against mine, I yearned for more than just his lips. He reminds me of him. That hot, hard body of the guy on the rooftop. I may be insane but maybe I’m not. Maybe it is him. Spinning around, I gaze around the club once more trying to pick him out but it’s useless. Too many faces, too many shadows. Then an idea hits and I spin back to look at Angel a smile on my face.
“I need to try something. If I’m not back in thirty minutes, call my dad.”
“What the hell, Harley? What are you doing?”
“Just promise to stay inside and call my dad if I’m not back in thirty,” I beg her. Knowing she’s my best friend, she isn’t going to say no, so it doesn’t come as a surprise when she nods her head. I smile and turn to head toward the back, finding the guy who grabbed my ass earlier. I put on all my best moves before inviting him outside. If the guy is still here, and I’m pretty sure he is, he’ll come.
The drunk asshole follows me out into the alley where I shove him against the wall. My lips are on his before he starts getting a little carried away.
“Stop. We’re only kissing,” I tell him when he spins us around and slams me against the wall. I gasp when my back hits, my head slamming into the brick.
“You didn’t bring me out here to kiss,” he growls. Then he’s back at me, pulling at my dress, trying to lift it off. I’m about to scream when he’s ripped away from me.
“You son of a bitch!” the man in the hoodie roars before pounding his fist into the other guy’s face. I should feel bad, but I don’t. I shouldn’t have brought that guy out here, but I knew he was watching me and now I have the proof of that. He’s here. He has to be the one I feel all the time. Who the fuck else would be watching me like that?
I watch him beat the shit out of the guy before dragging him down farther into the alley. It’s dark and I’m about to run back inside when I’m shoved against the wall much like I was inside. My breathing is sporadic, and I know I shouldn’t be playing with this man’s head the way I am, but there is something about him that I want to see. Scratch that, I need to see.
“What are you tryin’ to do, baby girl?”
“What? Nothing.”
“You want my attention? That what this is?” he asks, his warm breath dancing over my flesh. I swallow hard but words won’t form. His face is still hidden in the shadows and the low-pulled hoodie.
“I just….”
“Wanted me to show up. You wanted to see me lose control, but one day, baby girl, I’m gonna lose control with you,” he growls and heat seeps
