He lay on the bed with his hands behind his head gazing at the paint peeling from the pressed tin ceiling. Stacey didn't look like the kind of person that would date him just for his money. But you could never tell. Besides, he wasn't in the market for a long term relationship just now. He had another project that was going to take up all of his time and attention. Females in general tended to get a little bit tetsy if they were overlooked in preference to work and he was going to be damned busy for the foreseeable future.
But she seemed like a lovely person and he wondered if she would be in favor of what he had planned for her town. Time would tell. Tomorrow he planned to go and look over the land his purchasing officer had earmarked for exploration.

"Morning Stacey."
She whipped her head up at the sound of the voice that tormented her dreams last night. Morgan was standing at the kitchen door dressed in well worn denim jeans, a check button up shirt and work boots.
"Hi." Be still my beating heart. She turned to flip the eggs to give herself a chance to steady her nerves. Biting the inside of her cheek she breathed deeply, in and out, in and out. This guy was doing something to her that was completely unexpected. Waking up with her hand tucked neatly down her panties was a bit unusual but it had been so long since she had sex of any kind it didn't really surprise her. If truth be told she had enjoyed the experience.
"What can I get you for breakfast this morning?"
"I'll have whatever you have going. Is there anything I can do to help, coffee perhaps?" He walked into the kitchen and she squeezed her eyes before answering willing him to back away before she had the urge to lean back into his chest.
"No, really I have it all under control. You go and take a seat in the dining room and I'll bring it out to you."
She breathed a sigh of relief when he did as she suggested. Fanning her face with her tea towel she took another minute to settle her nerves. Last night when he arrived she had been struck by his good looks and quickly brushed that off because she was too busy to care. But when she woke this morning, she realized there was more to him than that. He exuded a power that drew her to him and finding out why could be interesting.
In light of the recent lack of sex or any type of male company, Stacey was imagining herself as a moth being drawn to a flame not caring if her wings were scorched to nothing but stubs, leaving her defenseless. The only thing keeping her back was the thought of getting hurt emotionally. Once was enough, she didn't need to go there again.
She flicked the switch on the coffee machine and turned to put slices of bread in the toaster. By the time it had popped up, the bacon, eggs and sausages were ready to plate up and the coffee was ready to pour. Taking a plate from the shelf above the counter, she put it on a tray before piling it with hot food.
Morgan was sitting at a table over by the window when she pushed through the swing doors from the kitchen with a laden tray in her hands. When he saw her coming, he jumped up and took it from her, his fingers grazing over hers.
Stacey looked up into his eyes and saw them widen when the jolt of electricity zapped between them. She pulled her hands back and moved away. "I'll go get the coffee, back in a minute."
In the kitchen she leaned against the counter. Her heart was racing and the pulse was throbbing between her thighs. It shouldn't be possible for one man to make her so horny so fast. Taking a second Stacey made herself relax. When she was under control she moved over to the coffee pot and picked it up.
Taking another deep breath, she pushed the door open and walked out, a smile plastered on her face. "Here you go." Morgan held his cup up and she filled it. With the smile still on her face she approached the elderly couple in the corner eating their continental breakfast and offered them coffee before heading back to the kitchen.
"Have you eaten yet?" Morgan asked as she passed him.
"Um, no actually but I will shortly."
"Sit with me. You can tell me more about what I can go and look at around the town today. You mentioned some spots that I think I should check out while I'm here."
He kept his gaze on her face as she argued with herself. In the end she gave in. "Okay, back in a minute."
Back in the kitchen, Stacey tried to convince herself she was doing it for the good of the town and public relations because it was her job to as a landlord. But deep down she knew it was for purely selfish reasons she was going to sit with him. He drew her and that alone was intriguing enough. It wasn't as though she could leap over the table and rip his shirt off in the dining room. Thus, she thought it was safe to sit and eat with him.
Piling her plate with bacon and eggs, she grabbed a cup coffee and headed out to the dining room. She put her breakfast down and pulled out the chair opposite, taking a seat. After a couple of sips of her coffee Stacey looked up at him and smiled.
"So what were you planning on
