Suddenly, it feels awkward.

“I’m sorry,” I say, watching as he continues to wipe his body. “I’ve never done that before.”

“Don’t be sorry,” he says gruffly. “I fuckin’ love it. Best thing I’ve seen in my life.”

Oh.

Wow.

“That sex was ...”

“Fuckin’ incredible,” he finishes for me, standing and striding out of the room, perfect muscled ass on display.

He’s not bothered, not worried. He’s so confident in his body and himself. It’s amazing the affect he has one me. My heart is fluttering, my stomach is doing flip flops, and my cheeks are burning as I remember the most incredible sex of my life.

Who the fuck am I with him?

And why does it scare me so much?

“OH, GOD,” I WHIMPER as my back slams against the wall in my office.

My skirt is up around my hips, my legs are around Riggs, and he’s fucking me hard and fast.

I don’t know how we ended up here again, but here we are. He strolled into my café before it opened, banging on the door. I opened it, he lifted me into his arms, and carried me to the office, his mouth hungry and devouring mine. Then he had me against the wall, my panties shoved to the side, his cock out and he was inside me. Fucking me hard and fast, making me cum multiple times.

It’s insane, I can’t get enough of it.

Our skin slaps together as he finds his release, after ensuring I enjoyed every second of my own. He releases me, shoves his cock back into his jeans, kisses me long and deep, and then turns and strides out.

It’s only when he’s gone that I realize we didn’t say a word to each other. But the sexual tension is enough to light a god damned fire inside me. The way he looked at me when he walked in, the way his lips devoured mine, the way his body took over and he fucked me with such intensity. There is this feeling there, this strong, intense feeling that is occupying every inch of my mind.

I want him.

I want him more than I’ve ever wanted anything in my entire fucking life.

It’s terrifying.

I fix myself up and get back out into the main dining area just in time for Darcy and Gabe to walk in for their shift this morning. Thank god. A second earlier and they would have seen me getting slammed against the wall, which wouldn’t have been something they would have forgotten easily.

“Morning, boss.” Darcy smiles, hanging her bag up on the hooks behind the counter and pulling out an apron.

“How are you, honey?” I smile, walking over and unlocking the safe so I can set up the cash for the day.

“Good, I have a date tonight.”

“Really?”

She grins. “Yep. He’s super cute, too. I’ve liked him forever, and he finally asked me out.”

I beam. “That’s awesome. I hope he’s taking you somewhere nice.”

She nods happily.

“She’s all lovestruck,” Gabe chuckles. “It’s gross.”

She throws a tea towel at him.

The two of them get along incredibly well. They were friends before they started working here so it makes it an effortless work environment.

“You’re just jealous,” Darcy teases him.

He nods. “I am. I can’t get a date to save my fucking life.”

The two of them laugh and get to work. I join them, unable to wipe the stupid smile off my face. I’m like a love-sick teenager, thinking about the next time I’m going to get to see my guy. Except he’s not my guy, he’s a biker, and he’s the man I declared war with. We have done nothing but drive each other crazy, so why he’s suddenly turned the tables I don’t know.

But I’m loving every second of it.

“Yo.”

I am mid-way through icing some cakes when Ramona walks out the back. “You got a shift for me?” she asks.

I employ Ramona casually. She fills in whenever I need her and often comes by to ask if I need a hand. She’s great at her job and she’s always got a smile on her face.

“Sure, Gabe is finishing up soon. He is going to his uncle’s wedding, so I do need someone on.”

“Consider me signed in,” she says, walking over and looking down at my cake. “God, save me some of that.”

I laugh. “Trust me, neither of us needs this. I saw what I put in it, and I’m telling you, one slice would probably set you back six hundred calories.”

She exhales. “A girl can dream.”

“I have some gossip,” I say, swirling the icing around to blend two gorgeous colors I am trying out.

“Gossip, you say?” She wiggles her brows.

I tell her what happened last night and again this morning. I tell her every gritty detail of the time I spent with Riggs and watch as her eyes get wider and wider. When I’m done, she squeals and runs toward me, throwing her arms around me. “I can’t believe it, this is great. You needed this so bad. And what a man to do it with.”

I grin. “I know, it was intense. I swear, I’ve never felt anything like it. That man is crazy.”

“It was quite the sudden change of heart, wasn’t it?”

I shrug. “The sexual tension has been there since the start, let’s be honest. We’re both just letting that out.”

She smiles. “Just be careful, honey. Men like that ... they can tend to hurt you if you’re not looking for it. Just be aware that he has a lot of women, and you two are basically sworn enemies. Don’t get too attached.”

I scoff. “I won’t get attached.”

My phone dings beside me and my hand lashes out to grab it, seeing Riggs’ name flash on the screen. Ramona looks to me, brows raised, and then shakes her head and walks out.

“I won’t get attached!” I call after her.

“Love you,” she calls back.

I won’t get attached. I’m not that stupid. I know he’s not into me like that. I know he’s not the kind of man who does relationships. He has too many women
