Lake hasn’t always known how to show love because he didn’t come from that background. It’s easier for him to lose himself in the sensual world that lures him at Prestige. A challenge from his sister and facing his demons forces him to learn to express what he wants and needs unless he risks losing Xiomara.
There’s no perfect person, and it’s easy to judge what others engage in, but we all fall short and have to find our way back. That’s what I tried to show in these two flawed characters. It is my sincere hope that you enjoyed this story.
