“Alright, he can come in when he gets finished but we’ve got a serious problem on our hands. As Shadow has just reported to me, the rifle which was used to kill Momma B was found on the ground about a quarter of a mile from here. Someone had set up a deer stand. They were long gone by the time they found it. Now we all know who the culprits are in this fucked up shit. I want to put a call out to Louis Pelletier to see what he has to say. Does anyone object?” Stoney asks.
Each of my brothers confirms that there aren’t any objections about it.
“Stoney, when you call, I want to be a part of the discussion,” Tyres says from his position against the wall across from me.
“I can understand your reasons for wanting to be in on this. You and your brother but gotta ask, you gonna be able to keep your emotions checked?”
“All due respect, I could give a rat’s ass about the motherfuckers and the cunts involved, unfortunately they fucked up with this shit. Not only did they cross your club but ours as well. Raven and Victoria both will always be a part of the Inferno’s Clutch MC. They’re family same goes for their kids.” Tears well in my eyes at Tyres’ announcement.
Stupid hormones.
“Exactly, they want a war it’s one they’re facing with both clubs and I don’t have a problem slicing the throat of mommy dearest the way she attempted to do me,” Brake sneered.
So that’s where he got the scar on the side of his neck, the one that now blends into his tattoo there.
Mark coughs in my arms and I realize for the first time he’s wrapped in Blaze’s t-shirt.
“Um, not to interrupt but can you explain to me why he’s in your shirt with nothing underneath it?” I ask, looking to my ol’ man. I already can take a guess as to the fact he found him naked.
“Like I said, Little Bird, not going to tell you. You’ve had enough shit to deal with.”
“Agree with you there, brother. Raven, in all honesty, it’s best you don’t know,” Stoney grumbles.
“Fine but I’ll say this now, those sorry ass fuckin’ cunts will be dying this time around,” I snap, leaning in to Blaze as I place my little boy against my chest.
Pitch Black comes in and clears his throat. “We’ve got company out front.”
“Who the hell is here?” Tracker demands, shooting to his feet.
“The ones who started all of this,” Nerd announces as he turns a tablet in our direction.
“Well looks like the party has come to us and saved us the hassle of calling them,” Stoney sneers as he stands up. “Come on, brothers, let’s go see what the hell they’re doing here.”
“Cyprus, help Raven get the boys to my room and stand guard at the door,” Blaze commands as he helps me off his lap.
“Got it.” Cyprus nods, taking Matthew from Pitch Black.
“Go rest up, Little Bird. I’ll be in later to check on you and the boys. Alverez will be here soon as well,” Blaze says.
“Okay but I want to know what happens and if it gets bloody, I swear to all that’s holy it better be theirs and none of the members of this club. They took one life they’re not getting another,” I seethe, angry with the winds as I try to ignore their words.
They betrayed me not letting me save someone I love and I refuse to listen to them any longer when it comes to their advice. It’s not fair someone like Momma B had to be impacted in the way she did. And now she won’t get to love on her grandchildren any longer.
Nor will she be able to kiss her Bear and drive him up the wall.
Damn it.
Those assholes need to suffer for what they did to her.
Chapter Fourteen
Blaze
Soon as Raven and Cyprus were out of sight with the kids, I look over to my brother-in-law and the rest of my brothers. “This shit needs to end before she blows.”
“Agreed, she’s been through some fucked up shit no one should go through,” Shadow growls as he narrows his gaze. “Let’s just hope she doesn’t go maverick on us and try to pull some shit.”
“She won’t want to leave the boys. Not after everything we’ve been through,” I mutter.
“Blaze’s right. She won’t leave them but doesn’t mean Raven won’t be demanding to take out at least one of the people involved with bringing harm upon her family,” Pitch Black states. “My sister is fuckin’ vicious when she wants to be.”
“Let’s get this over with, I want my ol’ lady back in here with me and my kids,” Stoney snarls. I don’t blame Prez one bit for not wanting to deal with this let alone being away from Rachel and their kids.
Fuckin’ hell.
We’ve all been through a shit ton of bullshit lately, it keeps wanting to pile up on top of us. Swear anymore comes our way soon and we’ll be trying to swim our way out of the piles of it caking up.
Following Stoney and Tracker out the front, my anger comes to the forefront when I spot Dixie standing there with a gloating look on her face as she stands with several men and two older women.
“You have got some balls for coming to my clubhouse after the shit you’ve pulled,” Stoney sneers.
“Ahh, it seems my sons decided to come here as well,” one of the older gentlemen snickers.
“Your sons? They’re mongrels who took my figure from me,” one of the women snarks.
“Good to see you too, bitch,” Brake growls from next to me.
“What the fuck do you want?” I demand.
“We don’t want anything,” Louis shrugs.
“Then what was all this shit about?” Tracker seethes.
“Oh, that was done at the command of Arlene. I’m going to put it to you this way, I’m not interested in a war with the
