A bright smile lights my face. “Really?”
“You already know I would do anything you desire, my beautiful mate.” He smiles and places a hand low on my abdomen.
My period is late, but then again, I suppose it’s to be expected. We make love two or three times a day, sometimes more.
He leans in and gently skims the tip of his nose along mine before moving down to the curve of my neck. Inhaling deeply, he growls low in his throat. “Your scent is stronger now,” he rasps. “I am certain you carry our child.”
When he pulls back, I run my fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck and stare deep into his gorgeous blue eyes. “And does that make you happy?”
