off the boys as they joined her.

“Have you been in the pool all day?” I asked them, giving a mock glare.

“All day!” David yelled and jumped in the pool with a whoop. Not to be outdone, Ethan and Cain joined him while Micah jumped and cheered beside us.

“I hear my boys!” Cain, Cecilia’s dad, stood inside the back gate, and the boys were shrieking again. They loved their pop-pop, and where he was, their mimi wasn’t far behind. Sure enough Leslie was with him. She let Cain corral our sons while she headed for my mate and me. She immediately pulled Ce into a hug.

“How’s my girl?”

“I’m good. Tired. But good.”

I glanced at Cecelia. Tired my ass. Normally, the woman was a bundle of energy. When pregnant, she was like a fucking bunny on steroids. She didn’t stop. She shot me a glance, daring me to say anything. I was a smart man, though. I kept my lips sealed. I knew what my mate was after. She was horny. Another delightful side affect of pregnancy. Bunny on steroids.

“Well then, you might not mind if Cain and I take the boys for a sleepover.” She scooped up Micah and had him giggling. “Just think. Another few months and we’ll have another grandson to love.”

“Could be a granddaughter,” Cecilia countered.

Leslie laughed. “You two are like Cyan and Ivy. I think all you can have is boys. At least, we have Taylor and Rebbie to give us girls. Plus, Bee and Hannibal and Bas and Raina seem to have a nice mixture of boys and girls.”

“I already promised Cecilia I’d keep working until we have a little girl.”

My mate flushed red while Leslie cleared her throat. Most likely to hide a laugh.

“I’m sure you did.”

“So we have movies, pizza, popcorn, ice cream, cookies, brownies, and Hannibal is bringing his kids by in another thirty minutes to join the party,” Cain said.

“That’s a lot of sugar,” Cecilia warned. “Are you sure the two of you can handle that with all the kids?”

“We’re old pros,” Cain assured us while Leslie grinned then added, “We’ve been looking forward to it. Stop by sometime tomorrow to pick them up. No rush. Mimi and Pop-pop have this.”

We took our time saying goodnight then simply stared at each other.

“What should we do with a surprise night all alone?”

As if my mate didn’t already know exactly what she planned for us to do, but I’d play along.

“Dinner and a movie?” I suggested.

She shook her head. “I’m not really feeling much like going out.”

“You did say you were tired. I’m sure I can find something to keep me busy if you want to go upstairs and rest.”

She glared. “Are you going to make me say it?”

I nodded, not bothering to hide my grin. “Absolutely. I love it when you talk dirty to me.”

After six years, Ce still wasn’t a big talker during sex. She loved it when I spoke to her, but she preferred to listen. I liked to make her say naughty things.

“I want you to go upstairs with me.”

“You want me to take a nap with you?”

Oh, that glare got even meaner.

“No?” I asked.

“Simon,” she growled. I loved it when she did that.

“What do you want to do?”

“I want you to take me upstairs, strip me naked, lick me into a screaming orgasm, then spend the rest of the night fucking me senseless. Precise enough for you?”

“Hell, yeah,” I agreed and scooped her up into my arms, heading inside and straight for the stairs.

“Simon.”

God, I loved the way this woman said my name. It was like an erotic caress from her lips.

“Yes?”

“Make me pass out again,” she ordered. “Fuck me until I pass out from the pleasure.”

“I’ll do my best,” I promised then followed words with actions for the rest of the night.
