Glenn cups her face in his hands. “I will.”
“Now, wait a minute, I didn’t ask the question yet?” Pastor Donegal chuckles with the family and witnesses.
“Do you Glenn Ward take Anika Coltrane to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do.”
“Do you Anika Coltrane take Glenn Ward to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
“I do.”
“Good. With the power invested in me by the State of Pennsylvania, I proclaim you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
Cheers erupt, and Glenn draws her slowly in. He kisses her reverently and wipes her tears with his thumbs. “No more tears, wife.” He commands.
“Kiss me again husband,” she orders.
Glenn kisses her firmly and Delaney laughs, jumping up and down.
