and early morning. You don’t work in the bookstore but two days out of the week, which I know you miss. I’m afraid for you. Christ, I’m twenty years younger, and half the time I’m still so freaking tired I want to cry. I—”

His mouth is on mine until I’m breathless. I’m not sure how, but I’m out of my dress and his mouth is moving down to my breasts. He flicks open the bra and oh god, I clench so tight at my core I almost come at the way he suckles deep on my breast. Tony has grown as addicted to this, as I have at what it does to me.

Then suddenly he stops. I open my eyes. “What the hell?”

Laughing, he catches my chin. “You don’t worry about me. I worry about you. I take care of you and our family. I’m more than fine. I’m pissed you’re admitting you’re tired enough you want to cry. I should be taking better care of you than to let you get this upset. We’ll look at another nanny to make up for the three days Cora takes off. The two days I’m in the bookstore are all I need and want. I love being home with you and the kids. I’m not exhausted. I’m not tired at all. I love everything about my life. I waited twenty-five damn years to finally get the life I always wanted. And two more kids at once does not scare me. It makes me so fucking happy I could burst.”

I run a hand over his cheek. He runs a finger over my lips. “Say it.” The words are a growl from low in his chest.

“I love you.”

Hot and greedy, his kiss is my reward. “I love you too, more and more every damn day.” Shaking his head, he grins, “I knew the moment I laid eyes on you my whole life had changed. It came out better than I ever could have dreamed.”

Twenty-three years later

The pounding jolts me awake. I groan as Tony’s phone starts ringing on the bedside table. Not surprisingly, Tony is instantly awake.

“Yeah, baby girl?”

I rub my eyes, wondering who it is. Rosie is due any day. Or did Aria sneak out of the house or something? Before the thought is finished, I hear Aria outside our bedroom door asking if she should answer the front door. She knows not to just open our bedroom door.

Tony answers her. “Yes, baby, let your cousin in. I’ll be right down.”

“Great, what has Eva done this time?” I slide out of bed after Tony.

“How did you know it’s Eva?” Tony chuckles as he pulls on pants and reaches for a shirt.

Watching him, I sigh. Twenty-five years of marriage and I swear he’s as gorgeous as he was the day I met him. It’s really annoying he’s still hard as fuck, everywhere. He’s lost maybe ten pounds of muscle, but he hasn’t gained more than five pounds of fat. And I’m a cranky bitch because we only just fell asleep a few hours ago after several hours of making love.

An eyebrow goes up as he catches me watching him. His hands go down to my waist, pulling me to him. “This is going to take a minute. It’s going to take even longer if you don’t stop looking at me like you are. I can’t go down there with my cock hard for you.”

“If you want—”

A hard hand meets my right ass cheek, ouch, it still hurts from earlier tonight. “Behave.” The sound of shouting makes its way up to us. “Fuck, that’s Dominic.”

“They just got back from their anniversary trip three hours ago. What did Eva do?” I grab panties and a bra. Tony grabs a long maxi dress and tosses it to me.

“She went and got married. Dominic is out for the blood of her husband. Regina is in tears she missed her daughter’s wedding.”

“Oh god.” I moan as I follow him out of the closet and down the stairs.

HIS: Dominic

Any minute I’m going to wake up from this nightmare. Being tied up and thrown in the trunk of a car doesn’t happen in real life. Except the silk tie around my wrists feels very real. And my father, Johnny Conti, the head of the Outfit, is telling me to be a good girl—that I’m to be the wife of the man who tied me up and has me over his wide shoulder.

Some women might swoon over gorgeous Dominic Sabatini with his blue eyes, dimples, and muscled body in a silk suit. Not me. Those are just distractions from who, what he really is: a ruthless killer with blood on his hands and ice in his veins.

There is no way Dominic could actually want to marry me. A virgin, curvy, buried in an all-girls Catholic boarding school for most of my life and seventeen years younger than him. He’s marrying so far beneath him it’s absurd.

No to all of it. Tomorrow I’m going to marry the man of my dreams, a nice, kind accountant. I’m going to have the safe, boring life I’ve always longed for. I have to escape this nightmare. But Dominic growls I belong to him and he keeps what is his.

This a mafia romance with dark elements. While this is the first book in a series it is a standalone and does not end in a cliffhanger.

His Dirty Demands
