“I love you too,” I finally get out when he lets me come up for air. “I’ll never get sick of hearing you say them.” I can promise him that.
“Then you’ll stop running from me.” It’s not a question. It’s one of his many orders. That is something else we need to talk about. I need to set some boundaries with Sov. I know he’s used to everyone doing as he tells them. And while I enjoy that aspect of our relationship in the bedroom, I don’t want that all the time. “Come.” The door opens, and I can see the plane waiting for us.
Before he releases his hold on me, he kisses me again. I can tell he doesn't want to let me go, but he also wants me on that plane and heading back home with him. I slip off his lap and step out of the car. He’s not even a half second behind me. I’m thankful when I see Zero getting out of another car. I’m glad Paulina and Jewels took it easy on him.
“I have to call the girls and tell them everything is okay.”
“When we’re in the air,” he says before leading me up the stairs of the plane. “I want us in the air as quickly as possible,” he tells the pilot as we pass him.
“It’s nice to meet you, George.” I read his name on the winged badge of his chest. Sov stops walking when I pull on his hand.
“It’s nice to meet you too, ma’am.” He gives me a smile. “We’ve been expecting you for a few days. I hope you enjoy the accommodations we’ve made for you. Please let us know if there is anything else you need.”
“Wheels up,” Sov reminds us all. I roll my eyes. He gives me a look that says I’m going to pay for that in the bedroom. My body fills with heat, and I let him pull me once again, not wanting the pilot to see me blushing like a schoolgirl.
“What is the hurry? If you let me make a call now, I can make sure no one is chasing us down.”
“They would be stupid to try,” he half growls, making it clear no one will ever rip me from his side. “That’s not the reason I’m in a hurry at all. I haven't been inside of you in two days, darling. If I wasn’t so fucking jealous over you I’d pin you down and take you right here, not caring who sees.” I was not expecting him to say that. It’s not helping my growing arousal.
“Okay,” I agree. “Wheels up.” I don’t want anyone seeing him either.
We sit down in two of the giant chairs, and he once again buckles me in. This plane looks more like a hotel suite. A flight attendant tries to bring out a tray of those little cakes I enjoyed and my favorite lemonade. The pilot hadn’t been joking when he said they’d prepared for me. Sov waves them off. The only thing I’m hungry for right now is him. Everyone disappears getting ready for take-off.
“Sov.”
“Yes, my darling?” He reaches over and takes both of my hands into his.
“You know I’m giving up a lot.” He starts to speak but I keep going. “Not that you’re not worth it, but you can’t demand all of my time.”
He stares at me for a long moment. “You scare me. I know what you are giving up, and I fear you won’t choose me. I also know there is no way I could ever live without you.” All of my insides melt. “I will try to be more mindful of my demands. It is hard for me, but I want you to be happy. I promise you this.” He reaches up to touch the necklace he gave me. I haven’t taken it off since he placed it around my neck. It’s a constant reminder that I belong to him. “I think I know you better than you think I do. You’re scared too. You needed a little push. You enjoy my control in a lot of ways.”
“I do,” I agree. I get to let go. It’s freeing in some ways. He loves me. Really loves me, and I know he will take care of me. I’ve been so pissed about him being high-handed and pushy, but I think it’s actually what I need. We really are made for each other.
“Then you’ll wear this.” He pulls a small box out, opening it. My eyes fill with tears again when I see the giant ring. It matches my necklace.
“Did you already have this when you gave me the necklace?” I hold my hand out, and he slips the ring on to my finger. Of course it’s a perfect fit.
“Yes.” He reaches into his shirt, pulling out a necklace with a small key on it. “This unlocks the necklace.”
“What! I can’t take it off?” I never tried, but I had no idea that it was actually locked around my neck. Still I make no move to test it.
“It lets me know where you are.” My mouth falls open. “I’m a powerful man, darling. You are precious and the most valuable thing to me. I want to keep you safe.”
“Then you’re getting a tracker somewhere on your body too,” I huff.
“If it pleases you,” he says easily. I unclick my seat belt and crawl into his lap. He wraps his arms around me, holding me close.
“You please me greatly.” His fingers dig into my ass as I press myself into his cock. He doesn't care about my past or where I came from. It’s me he loves. He’s more than proven that. I have a past, as does
