He complies, thrusting faster, undulating into me so he can hit the spot that makes me tighten around him. The one that makes my head fall back. He growls at that and hits it again, and warm golden pleasure unfurls throughout my body as I gasp, trembling through my climax.
He draws out my orgasm, continuing his steady pumping. “We’re not done,” he tells me, and then he puts his hands under my butt and deftly flips us until I’m sitting on top.
I blink at him, still half lost in the afterglow of my orgasm, but he reaches for my nipple, tweaking it, and then slides his hand possessively down my body until he finds my clit.
I’m so sensitive that I gasp, clenching around him, and he groans.
He lifts his hips, and I move, placing my hands on his chest for leverage. My nails dig into his skin, but from the way he gasps, I can tell he likes it. He uses his fingertip to run light circles around my clit, and my moans turn to one long wail as he rubs faster and I slam down on him, shuddering as I come so hard I see black spots.
Distantly, I can hear him growl out his own climax as he shifts both hands to my butt, thrusting a few more times. I collapse on top of him, and we both attempt to catch our breath.
“You know, this is crazy,” I murmur. “I was abducted, crash-landed on an alien planet, and fell in love with a dragon.”
His eyes gleam gold, heavy with satisfaction as he pulls me closer.
“Of course you did,” he says, arrogance coating every word.
Epilogue
Charlie
I soar through the sky on my dragon’s back, laughing as he arrows down toward the Colossal Water.
I squeal as he lowers his claws and water sprays up at me, but it feels cool and refreshing on my skin.
He rises, and I lean forward. “Again!”
Dragix’s laugh echoes in my head, and this time he goes deeper, flicking his tail until I’m drenched.
I gasp, and he lets out a rumble—the equivalent to a dragon howling with laughter.
“You think you’re real funny, don’t you?”
He snorts, and I grin.
I’m ridiculously happy.
We head toward Dragix’s territory, and I close my eyes as he angles down to where a herd of animals is grazing.
I grimace at the sickening crunch as he eats one of them, but I know he has several more held carefully in his claws.
We head back toward Rakiz’s camp, and people glance up as Dragix flies low, his winged form casting a huge shadow over the camp. He reaches the small, empty clearing near the cooking kradi and drops his offering on the ground.
One of the cooks gives him a pleased wave.
Now that there are so many extra human women staying here, there are even more mouths to feed. Dragix has taken it upon himself to help contribute the extra meat, which frees up some of Rakiz’s hunters to instead look for any remaining Dokhalls.
Maez is waiting for us when we land near the camp entrance. She has become fast friends with Ellie. And while she sometimes comes back to Dragix’s lair with us when we want some time alone, she’s spending more and more time hanging out at camp.
Dragix gives me a slow smile as he transforms, and my stomach muscles clench in anticipation.
“I need to go talk to Zoey,” I tell him. “I’ll meet you in our kradi later?”
He nods, turning to talk to Maez. “Don’t be too long, little two-leg. I crave you.”
I send him a smile over my shoulder and add a swish of my hips as I stroll away, laughing at the deep groan he sends down our mental pathway.
I find Zoey in the healers’ kradi. We’ve gotten close over the past few weeks, and I often hang out with her, Vivian, and Vivian’s cousin Sarissa. They haven’t yet gone to Arix for help fixing their ship. Some of the human women were injured, and Sarissa wants to wait until they’re all healed properly before she leaves.
I think she’s been nominated as their unofficial leader, and she seems to take the job seriously, constantly checking in with each of the women throughout the day.
“Oh, hey.” Zoey smiles at me. She’s currently working next to Moni, one of the healers. Since Zoey was a nurse on Earth, she’s fascinated with the different healing methods on Agron, and she’s been learning everything she can. Something is going on with her though. Recently, she’s been withdrawn, secretive, and…sad.
She leans over and murmurs to Moni and then follows me out of the kradi. She knows I prefer to be away from the healers, from the heady scent of herbs that remind me of being slumped over Dragix’s unconscious body while I waited to see if he would live or die.
The sun is warm on my skin, and I enjoy the fresh breeze as we walk toward the large clearing where most of the Braxian kids hang out.
“How are you doing?” I ask.
Zoey shrugs. “I’m okay.” I raise my eyebrow, and she laughs. “I am, really. I’m just…at a loss, I guess. I’m so used to being helpful and needed on Earth. Here, I feel like nothing but a burden.”
My mouth drops open at that. “Are you kidding me?” I had no idea she was feeling this way. “You’re not a burden at all, Zoey.” She sighs, and I give her a look. “You’re not.”
“It’s just…you guys are all out there, kicking ass and taking names. Nevada’s got her sword, Beth has her crossbow, Ivy has her knife, you have your bloodthirsty dragon…”
I burst out laughing, and she frowns at me but rolls her eyes with a chuckle.
“I know, I hear myself.”
I stop her with a hand on her arm and examine her face. She’s looking better than she has since I’ve known
