on the bed and took a couple more deep breaths and one more look around to focus her eyes by picking something far away from her to zero in on and bring it into focus. She chose the handle on the closet door, as her eyes came into focus, she could see just how much the room had altered, even the bed she sat on was a great deal larger and more comfortable than it first looked.

She picked up the photo frame, hugging it tightly against her chest. So many thoughts ran through her mind as she laid her head down to rest with a warm feeling in her heart and thoughts of Eiru of home and of Michéal. It wasn’t long before she was sound asleep, dreaming like she never had before; It felt so real to her like she was reliving a memory not simply playing out a dream.

She was with Michéal, he was holding her, his arms were wrapped around her while they talked face to face. They were talking in the very room she now slept in, he ran his fingers through her hair while he listened to her speak.

“I can’t believe this is really happening, to think I could be in the arms of a man I love, in such a magical place, it’s all so perfect, it can’t possibly be real,” she drawled as she played with the silver buttons on his silk white shirt.

“It’s real, nothing can take this from us and this will be our happy ever after,” Michéal smiled reassuringly.

Aisling smiled, laying her head against his chest, blushing with a warm feeling in her heart as she listened to his heartbeat.

“I’d like that,” she tenderly declared, she mustered her courage and found her lips forming the words her heart was dying to say, “I love you Michéal.”

She could hear his heart race faster and faster until he replied, “I love you Aisling.”

They both became teary-eyed with joy as they expressed something truly remarkable; something all too real, something that would unite them forever, for no force is greater than true love.

“Aisling,” Michéal spoke once more, “As long as I live, you’ll be My Queen, My Goddess.”

Aisling lifted her head with a sparkle in her eyes and a smile of delight. She reached up to press her lips against his, this would be their first kiss; their unbreakable expression, a binding seal of their love for one another.

When their lips parted, Aisling finished his quote, “Your inspiration.”

The kiss that followed was the most passionate kiss, the greatest expression of the truest and deepest form of love the world have ever known.

When they made love that night, it was truly magical. The elements flared around them, the stars shine brighter and the moon was never as full nor as large any night since then. Aisling placed her hands on his waist, curling her fingers to catch handfuls of his silk snow-white shirt, lifting it from his body and over his head, dropping it to the floor. She then placed her hands on his broad shoulders, her fingers danced down to his bare chest, his muscles tensing beneath her touch. In return, Michéal trailed his hands from the curve of her neck along her shoulders, been sure to remove her bra straps. Their eyes never left one another’s gaze, that was until Aisling turned away, covered her breasts with her hands and waited for Michéal to unhook her bra. Michéal’s fingers rested on Aisling hips as he took a deep breath to settle his growing animalistic urges. His fingers found their way to the clasp of her bra, unhooking it in one quick snap of his fingers; he looked at her neck, unable to resist, his lips caressed the slender curve of her neck, her skin was as smooth as silk and warm beneath his cuirass. Aisling moaned with pleasure at his kiss, her hands took her bra away from her chest, dropping it at her feet. Aisling felt Michéal’s hand glide around her stomach, holding her tight against him, she then leaned her head back to embrace Michéal with a lustful kiss; still holding the kiss, Aisling turned to face her prince, placing her hand on his cheek while their lips danced with one another. When their lips parted, their gaze reconnected with increased passion. Aisling had to take a few moments to compose herself along with a few deep breaths, they smiled boldly in defiance against the gods, the peace treaty and all those who would tear them away from one another.

“I don’t want to hide anymore, I want to be with you, I want to tell the world I’m in love with you, I want to make love to you, I won’t hide my love for you a day longer,” she announced. “I’m ready to be with you, regardless what happens, or others say.”

Aisling had set her mind on defying the odds to be with her lycanthrope prince, to be with her white wolf, just as he defied the ancient laws of Eiru and the gods will to be with her. Michéal was thrilled yet afraid, afraid of the repercussions that may fall on Aisling. He had never felt like this for anyone; he had never risked the wrath of the gods for any reason, not once throughout his life. She was to be his first real lover and he wanted more than anything, for her to be his last! Michéal could tell Aisling was afraid also, but she was also excited in a strangely indescribable way. With his hands-on Aisling’s waist, he picked her up, allowing her to wrap her legs around his waist and throw her hands behind his neck, clasping her fingers together. She hung in his arms looking at him, feeling every muscle beneath her touch tense and strain for release. His eyes could not contain his excitement, she never took her eyes away from him as he lay her on the bed. She bite her
