The fright in her eyes was equal to fear of dying. She wanted to live, but she didn’t know what the beast that held her was going to do; Noelle’s bite would cover all of Marie’s neck.
Once Noelle had completed her dark task of infusing Marie’s blood with the lycanthropy venom, she looked to Aisling, returning to her human form and said, “She will wake again, renewed and reborn.”
Aisling dried her eyes, she looked at Michéal, smiling brightly as the summer’s sun, “I’ve heard a great deal about you, the prince of all lycanthropes. You’ve killed the juggernaut, impressive, let’s see if you can kill me.”
Viper challenged as he stood out from the area entrance that closed behind him; his body just as before. He was using his own symbiote to protect him as a suit of indestructible armour.
“You cowardly bastard!” Aisling bellowed, but when Michéal softly turned Aisling towards him, he laid his hands gently on Aisling’s face brushing her hair from her cheek.
They both lovingly grinned at one another and he said, “I dreamt of this day for so long, I’ve missed you, so much.” His voice was trembling just as it was in her dream.
“I could feel your heartbeat the moment you returned to Eiru, I, I’ll not lose you again,” Aisling began to cry; she could feel the emotions in his words.
“Is breá loim tu,” Michéal whispered to her with a weeping over joyed heart.
“I love you,” Aisling replied, followed with a passionate kiss.
Noelle was gobsmacked to see them back together again. It was clear as day they belonged together and the only thing that stood between their happiness right now was Viper. She couldn’t help but feel a great panic as the last time Michéal and Aisling were separated. Clerics used ancient magic to cloud Aisling’s mind and Michéal went on a rampage that left the population of Eiru so decreased the gods sent Riga, Ambisagrus and Minuris to punish Michéal. So great was his rage, it fuelled his overall power! The three gods were unable to kill him, they were forced to bind him with the aid of six amulets, powerful magic and enchantments and now Michéal was free and has been reunited with Aisling. She didn’t know what they could do if anything happened to Aisling this time.
“Please, I really want to test this amadán, please go with the others,” Michéal asked with a smile.
“It’s you and me against the world,” Aisling replied with a joyous smirk.
“But this fight’s yours, so hurry up and come back to me safely,” she told Michéal, she smiled brightly as he ran his fingers through her hair.
“I finally have you in my life once again, there is no power on earth or the heavens that can separate us now,” his eyes said it more than words ever could. “I give you my word, this shan’t take long, and I’ll follow right behind you,” Michéal exclaimed.
Aisling took his hand, brushed her lips to his and said, “I’ve waited long enough, don’t keep me waiting too much longer.” Then she stood with Noelle and Marie.
“You,” Michéal called out to Viper, “Open the door, allow these ladies to leave and you’ll have your fight,” Michéal ordered.
Viper’s serpent like toothy grin was unsettling as he went against his orders blinded by his confidence. He wanted to be the one who slayed the Prince of all lycanthropes; he wanted the glory of doing what not even a juggernaut symbiote couldn’t, so he agreed to Michéal’s terms. Viper’s teeth dripped with venom as he threw Noelle a Pan-card and stood aside allowing her, Marie and Aisling to leave unharmed, he would deal with them later.
“I’m going to enjoy this more than I should,” Viper confessed with a devilish look in his eyes, clenching his fists and stretching his neck.
“For your sake, I hope so, unfortunately this won’t last that long,” assured Michéal.
Michéal tightened his fist and gathered a small amount of energy; creating a small disturbance in the air around him before he rushed towards Viper, ramming his left knee into Vipers ribs, breaking a number of them, driving the wind out of his lungs, causing them to go into spasm. That attack was followed up by a sharp downward elbow to Viper’s spine. With such force, Viper could feel his arms and head straining as if they were about to become dethatched; Michéal’s final attack was a powerful punch. So forceful it would have disintegrated Viper’s skull if not for the symbiotes protection. Viper was sent through the air several feet from where he once stood landing face down in the dirt and pool of his own blood. Michéal’s attacks were so quick and struck with such impact. Viper had yet to feel the pain from any of the attacks he had suffered. It was only when he was able to breath as normal that the pain seemed to take hold, Viper letting out an ungodly screech that would pierce the ears of anyone within earshot. Viper was now paralysed from the elbow attack to his spine. He lay in the blood and dirt, overwhelmed with the pain while Michéal sauntered his way towards him.
“Are you enjoying yourself?” Michéal asked confidently, kicking Viper over into his back so he could look into his eyes.
“You humans fascinate me, you are capable of great levels of destruction on a mass scale yet on the other side of the same coin, and you can show unparalleled kindness,” Michéal explained, placing his hand on Viper’s chest.
“Take Aisling, my heart. In spite of what you’ve done, the lives you’ve taken, she would still spare you,” Michéal reassured Viper who became cocky as he looked to Michéal and forced a smile.
“But, Aisling’s not here,” Michéal announced as his eyes darkened as dulled, looking as violent as a storm.
Viper tried helplessly to move away from his wolfish capture but to no avail. He felt Michéal’s claws slowly dug into his chest through the symbiotes armour plating like
