Two days later, the big group of traveling deities reached the destination. The huge mountain range was like a prostrating Colossal Dragon spanning into the horizon.
A massive group of deities gathered in a valley of the Coiling Dragon Mountain Range. Meng Lei and his subordinates were here with the group, and they could see that the valley had been dug.
A thick divine aura came from the huge hole, and everyone in the flying vessel perked up.
“Such a thick divine aura!”
“So this is a Divinity Crystal mine?”
Puhaman and the rest poked their heads out curiously to have a good look.
“This is the Coiling Dragon Mountain Range, sir,” Emery Philmore said respectfully.
“Let’s go down and have a look,” Meng Lei said.
He kept the flying vessel with a wave of a hand and led his subordinates toward the valley. At the same time, the massive traveling group rushed over as well.
As they got nearer, they could see the iridescent glow coming out of the hole, like the stunning, dazzling reflections of diamonds.
It was obvious that there was a mine in that hole.
“A mine!”
“The Coiling Dragon Mountain Range does have a mine!”
The various deities were excited, and a commotion broke out among them. Even though they did not own the mine, they could still benefit from it indirectly.
There must be someone to mine these crystals, right?
They could become miners and indirectly earn from it!
“The news was true, sir!” Emery Philmore could not contain his excitement. “There really is a mine in the Coiling Dragon Mountain Range! That’s a trillion tons of Divinity Crystals. How rich is that!?”
“That’s good news for me.”
Meng Lei was delighted. However, just as he was about to observe from a closer distance, the valley’s guards stopped him. “This is a mining area. Anyone unrelated is forbidden from entering!”
Meng Lei broke into a slight frown.
“They’re the city guards, sir.” Emery Philmore hurriedly explained softly, “The city guards are the minions of the Venus Colossal Dragon City Lord. They are responsible for the security and management of the city. It’s obvious that the city lord wants to hog the Divinity Crystal mine for himself.”
“Hog for himself? Hehe!”
Meng Lei laughed. At this moment, a loud, sonorous dragon roar came from afar as nine magnificent-looking beasts flew over.
They had a lion’s body, golden dragon scales, six-legged, and a pair of golden wings. Their shrill roars were majestic and domineering.
Meng Lei knew what these divine beasts were—Six-Legged Golden Suan Ni[1]!
The Six-Legged Golden Suan Ni had both the blood of a dragon and a lion. It possessed colossal strength and was lightning quick, the most elite mount one could have.
It was a pity that they were powerful beasts. Without enough capability, one might get killed, much less subduing them as mounts.
Hence, these majestic beasts were extremely rare, not to mention the nine that appeared suddenly. However, the most unbelievable part was that there were nine metal chains on the nine Six-legged Golden Suan Ni’s necks, linking to a golden dragon carriage.

“Who’s this with such a grandeur introduction?” asked Bubbles.
“Yeah! That’s way too grandeur!” Puhaman spoke as well. “But you got to admit that it’s cool to have nine Six-Legged Golden Suan Ni pulling your carriage! It’s really impressive!”
“You don’t say...”
The rest were amused, while Emery Philmore was badly frightened. “Everyone, tone down the volume. If someone hears this, we’ll be finished!”
“Emery, who is this guy you’re so afraid of?” everyone asked quizzically.
“In our Venus Colossal Dragon City, other than the city lord, who else could have such ostentation?” Emery gave a wry laugh.
“That’s only a lord of a city. What’s the big deal?” Bubbles scoffed. “Compared to our Master, he’s nothing at all!”
“To be honest, Master should snatch these Six-Legged Golden Suan Ni since they suit him more. They’re simply wasted on a city lord!”
“Exactly...”
The rest were unhappy as well. Their master, an expert beyond the Great Perfection deity level, kept such a low profile. Yet, a fellow who was not even a Great Perfection deity was being so pretentious. That was infuriating.
Emery Philmore could not help but laugh wryly.
“Everyone, you might not know that our city lord isn’t any ordinary deity.”
“Not ordinary?”
“Really powerful?”
“Some bigshot from the Nidhogg Colossal Dragon Gods?”
Everyone was puzzled.
“His name is Venus Nidhogg. He isn’t that powerful as he’s only a mid-level higher deity. However, he’s the great Nidhogg Chief God’s little son. Though he isn’t favored, he still enjoys a supreme status amongst the Nidhogg Colossal Dragon Gods,” Emery Philmore explained.
