Chapter 57: Wiping Out The Bandits, A Spatial Ring
To both sides were towering mountains and precipitous ridges, while only a valley ran through the middle. A group of shabbily-dressed bandits was lined up in the valley’s center, blocking the wide pathway there!
Their clothes were torn and tattered, and they were the very picture of a ragtag crowd. Currently, they were all standing around a magic ballista, and they watched the magic carpet suspended in mid-air excitedly!
“Tsk, tsk, a magic carpet!”

A savage-looking one-eyed bandit riding on a Horned Cloud-Striding Horse shouted his orders loudly as he brandished an enormous sword and waved it about. He was the leader of the Lone Wolf Bandits, Lone Wolf!
“Yes, Boss!”
The bandits let out a loud cheer and launched the magic ballista. Accompanied by an intense and dazzling flash of lightning, another two to three meters-long lightning arrow hurtled outwards, going straight for the magic carpet!
“A magic carpet! Hehe!”
Lone Wolf, the leader, licked his lips with a hint of savagery in his lone eye. “Here’s hoping that the prey today doesn’t disappoint me!”
“It’s coming again!”
“What do we do, Big Brother Meng Lei?”
Blood drained from the extremely frightened trio’s faces as they fearfully watched the lightning arrow hurtling toward them at high speed. Should it strike them, even if they were lucky enough to avoid being stabbed to death, they would also be smashed into pieces after falling from so high up!
They would still die a terrible death, nonetheless!
“These are bandits!”
Meng Lei stood tall and proud on the magic carpet. With a casual wave of his arm, a lightning shield that shone bright and dazzling quietly appeared and wrapped around the magic carpet!

The lightning arrow struck heavily against the lightning shield. A dull boom rang out, and the lightning shield began to shake violently, seemingly showing signs of shattering!
However, the strange thing was that it ultimately managed to stand strong. The lightning arrow gradually exhausted all of its energy and stopped moving in the end!

Right after he spoke, he whipped the Horned Cloud-Striding Horse beneath him viciously. He dashed over to the Violent Thunder Crossbow and kept the mighty thunder crossbow. Then, he raced away on his horse, deathly afraid of being even a step too slow!
“Boss?”
“What’s wrong with Boss?”
Upon seeing their leader suddenly fleeing for his life, the whole group of bandits looked bewildered. Why was their leader retreating when everything was fine and dandy?
“A bunch of good-for-nothings! Retreat at once!” bellowed Lone Wolf furiously.
“Okay, okay...”
It was only then that the bandits began to retreat.
However, it was too late!
Buzz, buzz!
All the Thunder Elements within a radius of several hundred meters swiftly converged and instantly formed 10 Thunder Pythons that were over 30 meters long. Their lightning scales shone and dazzled, and their massive bodies looked vivid and true to life. They floated in the sky, giving off an aura that made people’s hearts pound wildly in fear!
“Sh*t!”
Lone Wolf’s eyelid twitched violently as he took in the mighty terrifying aura in the sky. Fear and hopelessness filled his heart.

10 Thunder Pythons howled and roared as they swooped down from the sky. They crashed head-first into the ground and exploded with a deafening boom. An overwhelming amount of Thunder Elements rampaged madly and enveloped the area within a radius of 100 meters!
“Ahhh!”
Amidst shrill and tragic screams, the bandits were burned into charcoal, reduced to ashes, or evaporated into vapors...
They died a tragic and miserable death!
It was hard to watch!
“Oh my god!”
When Lone Wolf looked back and saw what had happened, he became even more horrified. He brandished a dagger and viciously stabbed the Horned Cloud-Striding Horse in its rump. The horse let out a shrill whinny and broke into a desperate dash in a dramatic burst of speed!
“An expert of that level... is actually riding on a magic carpet!
“Isn’t he just out to bully others?!”
Lone Wolf was furious and filled with regrets. Magic carpets were low-grade flight tools that only Low-Level Magicians would use; High-Level Magicians completely turned their noses up at them. That was why he had dared to rob them of the magic carpet!
Never did he ever imagined that things would go completely out of his expectations!
“I’ve run into a wall this time!”
Lone Wolf was so full of regret that he was beating his chest, but all he could do was to flee desperately for his life!
“Flee? Do you think you can successfully flee?”
Meng Lei smiled calmly and snapped
