this melding of our bodies into one as he took blood from me into his own, was astounding. I’d never felt so at home.

Vincent is my home.

“Harder, Romeo!” he cried as he lifted his mouth from my neck.

I stared at his face. His chin was wet with blood…my blood. My cock throbbed and I plunged into him harder, doing as he’d asked, unable to deny him anything. I loved this man more than life itself. There was nothing on earth that could have prevented this joining. I loved everything about having a vampire in my bed.

My orgasm was close. I reached for him again, stroking him hard. I wanted to bring us to climax together, give him as much pleasure as he was giving me. The tip of his cock slid in and out of the foreskin as I jacked him. I gazed at his slit, watching pre-come slide out of it and get caught in the foreskin. My mouth watered, longing to taste him again. I somehow knew the hunger he was feeling, and I completely admired him for being able to hold back as well as he did. I don’t think I could have managed it if the shoe were on the other foot.

“Gonna come…” he whimpered.

I met his eyes, giving him several hard strokes and several deep thrusts. I realized this vampire, my vampire, was helpless in my arms. It was a remarkable thought.

“Come for me, Vincent. I’m…right…there…!” I exploded inside him as he came all over my chest. Hot, white, spunk shot out of his slit, spurting onto my belly and warming me where it landed on my skin. I felt his body clamp down on my dick as he climaxed. I rode the wave of my own climax, watching the show he was putting on for me. I was awestruck at what I could do to this vampire, at the power I had over him. As I watched him come apart in my arms and then collapse over me, reaching for my mouth, it brought everything into focus. We were one, and if the universe was good to us both, we would be one for the rest of our lives.

In a matter of moments, we both slipped into unconsciousness.

Vincent

I woke sticky and sweaty in Romeo’s arms. At first, I couldn’t remember where I was and as I caught sight of my dresser in the low light of my underground room, it came to me. Romeo snored softly beside me, still entwined in my arms as his head lay against my chest. Sometime in the night, his dick had slid from me, leaving a fading tingle in the most private of places. This peaceful retreat was something I only shared with my mate. I closed my eyes and focused on my lover. As I did, something else drew my attention.

I gasped as I pulled out of Romeo’s arms, coming fully awake as I sensed someone else in the room. I sat up and turned to the corner of my room, my gaze suddenly drawn to an empty space between the bookcase and armoire. A soft gray glow lit up the corner, and as I focused on it, I realized what I was looking at.

The tiny shadow ghost I’d seen in the tree line near the drive-in, was hovering off the ground, floating up and down slowly. Smoky-gray rays of light surrounded him on all sides. This close, I could actually make out his features.

I turned away, looking down at Romeo. He’d rolled to his side, facing away from me, still deeply asleep. When I looked back, the tiny specter had moved closer. He now hovered only a few feet from my bed.

Oddly enough, I didn’t feel like my mate and I were in any danger. Instead, I was hit with a wave of such sorrow, it nearly took my breath away. He was so close I could now make out his features. He was a young boy, no older than six or seven. He had hollow cheeks and huge dark eyes. They were ringed with charcoal circles and sunken into his head. His brown hair was matted to his scalp and his lips were a very dark blue.

“What do you want?” I asked, hearing my own words come out shakier than they should have. I was a knight of the realm after all.

“I want someone to find me,” the small ghost said. His voice was so small and weak, it made me overwhelmingly sad. I could hear the resignation in his words.

“Where are you?”

The boy shook his head. “I don’t know. Men left me here after they hurt me, and all I want to do is rest.”

I felt a pang of despondency as I listened to this. It was followed immediately by overwhelming anger at what had been done to this child. I frowned.

“I need someone to find me,” the small voice pleaded. “Please…”

I watched him hover in place, seeing the smoky-gray glow radiate out from the lighter, translucent aura of the specter himself.

I nodded. “What’s your name?”

“Blue… Mama called me her Blue boy.”

“Blue. Okay. I’ll do whatever I can to find you.”

The specter began to fade. “Promise?” His voice was tiny now.

“Yes.” I closed my fist, thumping my chest. “I promise, Blue.”

“Thank you, Vincent.”

“How…?”

Before I could ask how he knew my name, the tiny ghost vanished. The room was dark again. I sat there for a few minutes, staring at where he’d been before glancing over at Romeo. He snored softly into the pillow. I noticed a chill in the room for the first time, and I lay back down, pulling the covers over me as I slid in behind Romeo. I wound my arms around my lover, resting my chin on his shoulder, twining my legs with his, as I thought about the little ghost.
