Again, stupid shit.
Daphne wasn’t just anyone.
Six months ago, they had gotten drunk and admitted their feelings for Daphne. She was the one biggest mistake they all made, and it started because of him. He’d been the person to start her miserable years in high school, all because she’d been too perfect for him. It wasn’t a good enough excuse, but to him, at the time, it had been enough. She’d come from a perfect family, a perfect life. Then her parents had died, and her grandmother had taken her in. It had all worked out perfectly for her. He’d been angry, resentful, and had taken it out on her. The evil fucker he’d been back then, he’d started the bullying, but his two friends had continued it. Now they were back and he hoped to fucking God he could win her back. There was no way he’d be able to bear her belonging to either of his friends, and he’d be tormented by watching her be happy every single day.

Micah watched as Daphne slammed the phone down. She lifted it up again and slammed it down for a second time. She reached again for a third time, but she stopped. Her hand out flat, she took several deep breaths before leaving the phone alone without taking her temper out on it.
She stepped back, tilted her head to the left, closed her eyes, and went to the right.
“I’m glad I’m not a telephone.”
Her eyes opened and she glared right at him.
“Let me guess, the cops don’t want to hear about it.” He winked at her, stepping further into the room. The Daphne he recalled never ran away. She never turned her back on any of them. Always willing to face them no matter what. She was so fucking strong. Just looking at her now, in her domain, his cock ached. He wanted to fuck her so badly.
In all the research they’d done, none of it gave anything away about the last twelve years. She’d never been married, but that didn’t mean she hadn’t had a boyfriend. He’d hated seeing guys around her back in high school. Back then, he’d figured it was because he hated her or some stupid shit, but he now knew the truth. He didn’t want men around her because she was far more precious than a quickie.
The men around her hadn’t deserved her. Point-blank.
He’d been saving her for himself, and he just hadn’t realized it. Now though, he knew the truth and intended to make up for that fact.
“What do you want, Micah?” she asked.
Hearing his name made his cock twitch.
“What kind of game are you playing? After all this time, you come here, a small bed-and-breakfast. I know we’re good at what we do, but I also know the standard you all work toward.” She shook her head. “I don’t care. According to the cops, they cannot come and remove you as you’re paying customers that now with the whole lockdown, you can’t leave. It’s messed up. You want to stay here, fine. You can all fend for yourself.” She shook her head and turned on her heel. “I’ll show you where everything is, and you can all just stay out of my way.”
He followed her, watching the way her hips swayed from side to side, capturing his attention. All he wanted to do was run his hands down those generous curves. To have her naked, spread those cheeks, and lick from her cunt all the way back to her asshole. Dean was usually the one into freaky shit, but he’d seen his boy in action, and well, Daphne inspired him.
“The fridge, freezer, and fresh groceries are through there.” She pointed out each unit and then toward a door before turning back to him. “You can all cook for yourselves. You don’t need me. That’s the tour. You know where everything else is. Enjoy.” She stepped toward the door and he blocked it. “Get out of my way, Micah.”
“I remember you having a spine, but I didn’t realize you had an attitude with it.”
She glared at him. “Having a spine? I shouldn’t have to deal with this. You think I want you three here? You think I care to be in the same breathing space as you? I’d rather be in the damn forest with wolves than you guys. At least they’d kill me quickly. What you three did was nothing short of torture. I never got it. Even now I don’t get it. I was never mean or horrible. I didn’t do anything to you, so what could I have possibly done to you, huh?” She pressed her hand to her head. “I’ve wasted too much time talking about this already. I don’t want to talk about it anymore. I’ll stay out of your way.”
He reached out to grab her arm, pulling her back. The way she tensed, he didn’t like it.
Pushing her up against the wall, he cupped her cheek, seeing the rise and fall of her chest. The shirt she wore highlighted the fullness of her tits. She was cold too. Her puckered nipples pressed against the front, and it took all of his strength not to take them through the fabric of her clothing.
He’d scared her.
Daphne was terrified. He saw it in her gaze, but he also knew she was confused.
“I’m sorry,” he said.
“That’s not going to cut it.” She gritted her teeth. “You think I got through high school without any issues, you’re wrong. I had my grandma. I had this place. You three made high school miserable, and I couldn’t stand it. I’d go to bed crying because of
