doing here?” Caitlin’s tone had an edge to it; she was quite frankly tired and annoyed at this interruption so late in her evening.

“Well, excuse me, madam, what are you not doing here? I have been waiting since 8 PM, that was the time we agreed upon last week. Have you forgotten about showing me through your Academy? Shame on you, I thought I’d made a good impression, I thought I was memorable.”

His voice had a helpless expression to it. He gave a better sounding laugh. “Well, if that’s how little impact I had on you, I’ll be off then.”

“Don’t be like that.”

“No?” Ryan spoke softly as he stepped closer toward her, a hard edge running through his voice.

Caitlin shivered as a thrill of excitement ran through her body. Having him close, in her intimate space, was enticing. Ryan was extremely handsome, roguish, with a seductive air about him. He could be charming as was Lycon, but he also had a hard edge, a touch of the bad boy about him that made her heart beat faster. It made her think that he had seen things, done things, and being places that few dare to enter.

“Look, I’m getting cold out here, won’t you come inside with me, and I’ll put the kettle on, and we can go from there.”

Caitlin’s invitation hung in the night air, her voice wavered, just slightly in anticipation.

Reflection of the street lights flickered in his eyes. You really want me to come in? Ryan watched me, dark and intent, he leaned closer.

Caitlin paused as she could feel his heat and see the raw edge of desire in his eyes. He wasn’t hiding anything, he was letting Caitlin know that his attraction was undeniable.

“Sure, let’s get warm.” Caitlin smiled at the double entendre, the key slid into place, Caitlin opened the heavy door and stepped inside with Ryan hot on her tail.

Caitlin placed a steaming mug of coffee in front of Ryan and took a seat next to him at the heavy oak table.

“Sugar?” She asked, self-conscious of the proximity to his warmth.

“Nah, I’m sweet enough.” He gave her a look warm enough to melt an iceberg.

There was a hint of unsteadiness in her voice. It was very slight but discernible. “About the Sex Academy, there’s something I need to tell you.” Caitlin’s voice trailed off.

Ryan watched her intently as he took a cautious sip of the brew, his dark gaze flickered, he savored the taste and gently set the mug down on the table, he placed his fingertips lightly on her arm.

“What’s been going on?” His eyes watched her, concern tracing a path across his brow.

“I’ve had to change the plan, it won’t be opening after all.” Caitlin’s face flamed pink, and she looked away.

Realization of what she was saying, saw a frown deepened across his brow. “Why? It was the perfect enterprise.”

“Listen to me,” Caitlin said, her voice quiet and fierce. “I can’t go into details, it’s highly personal and confidential. Trust me, this is not a decision I made lightly.”

Ryan leaned in closer, his mouth near Caitlin’s ear. “I thought I was going to be your star student.” He whispered, his breath hot. He trailed his fingers along her forearm, sensation spread wildfire over her skin.

Pure excitement shot through Caitlin, his touch was electric, sending a bolt of sensation down her spine as his fingers brushed over her skin, and traced a lazy circle on her forearm.

“You are a vixen, making me want you more by playing hard to get.” The sharp edge to Ryan’s words held an undercurrent of rough heat, wound up with raw last. He lit a fire between Caitlin’s legs, she was moist for him.

“It’s not to do with you, I’m sure you would have been a fabulous student, it’s a personal issue. It’s caused such disarray to my plans.” Caitlin finally managed to get a few words out.

“So you do want me?” Ryan’s fingers closed around her wrist, squeezing her lightly. “Because I want you more each day.”

He squeezed tighter, a tight sound of pleasure escaped from Caitlin’s lips. Ryan gave a low grunt, obviously pleased with her response, and did it again.

Caitlin shook her head. “No, it’s not the right time, but it’s not because I don’t want or desire you. I just can’t..” Caitlin's voice trailed off.

“Hush my darling.” Ryan’s voice low and calming. His fingers circled and stroked her arm, then they slid up further, and brushed the rise of the breast, the look in his eyes spoke volumes. He pushed a trail of hair away from her face.

“Don’t say any more, you don’t have to tell me your personal problems, just promise me that you will take care of yourself.” A thoughtful look crossed Ryan’s face.

“Look, I know we don’t know each other that well, but I feel like we’ve made a lot of progress over the last few weeks.” Ryan paused and then forged on with his idea.

“You know that you can trust me, my company is in fortunes top 500, I’m the CEO of a large oil corporation. I’m not some fellow you’ve met on Tinder. I have to go to Texas for business tomorrow, I’ll be flying in my personal aircraft.”

“You look like you need a break, it’s obvious you have some decisions to make. Take a chance, have a getaway with me, just a few days, you’ll find the solutions to whatever is worrying you.” His hand maintained an exquisite pressure on her wrist. His eyes, serious and concerned.

Caitlin spoke, her voice was soft and dark. “I, I guess that would be lovely.” Her voice faltered.

“Great, I’ll pick you up at 8 AM tomorrow, pack a bag for a few days, we can go shopping, get anything else you might need.” With that, he leaned closer; still, his mouth brushed over hers. A light, agonizingly sweet kiss, filled with compassion and need.

“It’s time I should go,” he said with resignation. “Before I fuck you all night long and that would
