and then he and Glammer slid into the walls and swam down tothe floor level.

Aquitain gavethe signal and all his troops popped up out of the ground andGlammer popped up to taunt the dragon. He physically tried totrample a couple of the troops and they just ducked down. He castmagic at Glammer and she just laughed at him, then as her rushed ather she melded into the ground. Miranlla, Granddad and Roriteleported in and took up positions hiding behind building debris.Aquitain popped up as a bear about the same size as Adonis.

‘At last the coward is going to give me the pleasure ofkilling him,’ boomed the dragon breathing a stream of acidic fireat Aquitain who melded into the ground.

Glammer poppedup behind Adonis and belted him across the back of the head thenmelded back into the ground. Granddad created a lot of large flyingillusions to try and confuse Adonis who snapped at one and quicklyrealized that it was an illusion and ignored them. The troopspopped up and down. Aquitain suddenly rose up from under Adonis asa massive slime with eight tentacles which criss-crossed Adonis’sbody and locked together pulling him down then he flowed his bodyover the dragon forcing it down by sheer weight.

Adonis changedshape growing four heads on neck stalks and starting spewing acidfire over Aquitain’s rock body that ate into the rock weakeningit.

‘This is not good.’ said Miranlla. She handed Alpha to Roriand changed into her full sized Llanllean spider form then placed adollop of sticky web on the grown and jumped at the nearest headpulling it down with her weight. She wrapped it with spider silkthen jumped for another head and did the same. Rori ran aroundbehind the dragon watching for an opportunity. Granddad created azone of stasis that would prevent teleporting.

The dragonstruggled to get up. Aquitain slithered fully onto it trying towork out which head to enter. Rori ran to the head glued to theground with spider silk. It growled at him showing big fangs andbreather acid at him. He ducked and thrust alpha into its throatthen yelled through the mind link ‘Spirit Lord, I have the trap inone of its mouths.’

Aquitain heardit and sent a tentacle towards its anus and finding the opening, flowed his spirit into the dragon, pushing the dragon’s spirittowards its heads.

‘Jump on it Glammer I’m inside.’ He yelled through their mindlink. Glammer leaped out of the ground grappled the free head anddropped as a dead weight across the dragons body.

Adonis suddenlyrealized something was going wrong inside him and in a panic triedto teleport but it failed as Granddad’s zone of stasis blockedit.

‘Pull’ Raptor ‘Pull’ yelled Aquitain frantically as his spiritexpanded inside the dragon pushing Adonis’s spirit towards itsheads. Suddenly the spirit drained like a bucket of water with ahole in its base and Aquitain detected a different spirit pushingback against his.

‘Get out of here, quickly.’ said Raptor abruptly and Aquitainwithdrew and started flowing his mass off the dragonbody.

‘Back off!’ shouted Raptor as he regained hisfooting.’

Aquitainreformed as a very large bear and gave out a monstrous K’walagrowl.

‘Here’s your chance Raptor.’ he said.

‘What do you think I should do Rori.’ asked Raptor using mindspeak.

Rori looked upat the huge dragon and said. ‘I am believing the spirit bear, LordRaptor. ‘I am thinking that you were being caught in the trapwithout him being knowing.’

‘Then I will accept that is what happened.’ hereplied.

‘You definitely sound and look like K’wala, gatekeeper.’

‘I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Can you show me howto get out. Lithgala will not be happy about what we have done butit will give me happy thoughts for an age. I will spread severalstories and she will be at her wits end trying to decide which oneis correct. Beware her vengeance.’

Both Raptor andAquitain changed to Newman forms and teleported to the portalconnecting to the southern entrance portal in Mudrun and opened it.However, before Raptor could leave, in walked an angry Newmanwomen, dressed in gold radiating power.

‘Where’s my son?’ she asked.

R’ptor quicklyreplied

‘He’s not in here. He’s gone and didn’t say where he wasgoing.’

She was notsure whether to believe R’ptor or not but as he had no reason tolie, she accepted it. She then focused her attention onAquitain.

‘You insulted me by killing my priest Ishtar. What shall I dowith you?’

Moments later acockroach shot in through the portal.

‘What are you doing here Lithgala? I have been informed by theLady that this area has been designated by the Council of Gods as aDivine Reconstruction Zone whatever that means and no one isallowed except for the approved reconstruction staff.’ stated Helixsounding very officious.

‘This mortal has insulted me and it is my right to punish himin any way I choose.’ replied Lithgala.

‘This mortal has two seeds and as such has the right toexplain to the Council of Gods why he acted in the way he did andthat might be somewhat embarrassing to your colleagues.

‘He’s an abomination they would laugh him out of the counciland have him executed for wasting their time.’ shereplied.

‘But only after he had revealed the secret of this DivineReconstruction Zone and perhaps whatever else he knows about it.’replied Helix.

While she wasconsidering the consequences, in walked another woman wearing asimple druid gown. The woman curtsied to Lithgala and said. ‘I havea message from your Goddess your grace and handed her a scroll.Lithgala snatched it glanced quickly at it and turned toAquitain.

‘You’ll keep. I won’t forget what you have done.’ and sheleft.

R’ptor andHelix both left curtly through the portal after acknowledging themessenger of the Goddess of Nature.

‘I was wondering when you would show up, mother’ said Aquitainas he hugged her.

‘You are either very brave or very foolhardy. Which is it?’she asked.

‘Neither. I’m very smart thanks to having the best teachers inthe Cosmos.’ he replied.

’I wondered who could have arranged to have Helix, a Fount andadvisor to gods as my tutor. How did I end up having an avatar ofK’wala protecting me and teaching me? It couldn’t have been K’walaas she was trapped in the Nether world.’

‘Who could create a half elemental dragon when all theelemental dragons were against it? Not even
